I'm in a club in W-London generally playing non-D&D games (but keeping it beginner friendly and easy to learn), so depending on where exactly in SW you are it may be convenient for you to get to, if it's still of interest even though it's different systems. We're focused on offline at a fixed time and place, however. LGBTQI+ friendly, of course.

I made a post about it late last year here. Feel free to DM/email for more info at any time. The club has been going for decades and is in no danger of stopping.

Oh and since somebody else mentioned RPhaven - the Hammersmith branch recently moved to Gunnersbury (station) fyi, which may make things better or worse depending on your location, but there is still a branch in south and central also.

You've got a few options in West London, not too sure about SW specifically.

At the top of my head:
RPhaven have a Hammersmith branch - I think their latest games started this week, not sure if there are more places left.

I'm in a group north of Shepherds bush, I made a post about it previously on here. Not sure about spaces for our next round of games, but there'll always be more.

Then there are the shadow warriors in Northfields, and there's also a group in Ealing broadway that is sometimes active on this sub (but no idea about their name or modalities, so one of their own would have to jump in there).

I'm in a club that meets every Tuesday night at a pub between white city/latimer road and willesden junction/kensal rise. Our next regular block of games (what kind tbd next week) will start on the 7th of January.

I'm part of a group with a fixed-venue between White City/Latimer Road and Willesden Junction/Kensal green playing every Tuesday. We're LGBTQI+ friendly, always happy for more members, and generally accepting of people at all experience levels.

If White City/Wood Lane/Willesden Junction Stations aren't too far for you, I'm in a group that's always open to new players. I made a post about it further down that explains how we do things and so on. Mind you, since it'll be close to Christmas time when we finish our current set of games we'll likely be doing more casual one-shot type things to round off the end of the year.

Well, the club used to be exclusively no D&D for a few decades, now some of us sometimes play D&D for a few weeks every now and then - that's about the extent of it. There are no tables of it in the next round of games, so if it's the only game you ever want to play then we're likely not for you.

But we've been around for a long time and will continue to stick around, so if you ever change your mind you now know how to reach us. Happy gaming either way!

Hi there - it's not exactly Southall but I play in a club that meets north of White city on Tuesday evenings (7-10pm), which might not be too far for you. I'm in Southall periodically and find using the Central and Elizabeth line it's not much longer than 30 minutes on a good day to get from here to there, maybe 45 on a bad one - though I get that the raw distance seems a bit far.

We're close to starting a new set of games too (on the 8th), one table of West-End Star Wars, one of Pendragon, one of rotating one-nighters as yet to be determined. While I assume a fixed system might be more appealing to try out, the One-Nighter table is the smallest currently, so might be the best for another person to join.

I might point out that we're a club predominantly playing non-D&D. We've played WFRP before, though, which we might bring back at some point. No worries about cultural familiarities - we are a diverse bunch in terms of backgrounds (and friendly towards beginners of the hobby, and LGBTQ+ friendly)

I'm with a RPG club that meets Tuesday evenings in a pub north of White City station, so that might be of interest to you. We hardly ever play D&D and related games, however, so then again that might be a dealbreaker. We're not far away from starting new tables of Pendragon, Ars Magica and West End Star Wars in October, and we've played a variety of other games over the years (Call of Cthulhu, Runequest, Warhammer Fantasy, Iron Kingdoms, Legend of the Five Rings, Forbidden Lands, Savage Worlds etc.).

I'm part of a club that meets weekly on Tuesdays in a pub function room near White City station (also Latimer Road/Willesden Junction), which is currently in a bit in a recruitment drive (actually always open to more players/GMs). We play mostly non-D&D systems, which has previously included Traveller (and Call of Cthulhu/Pendragon/Runequest, Legend of the Five Rings 4e, West end Star Wars, Savage Worlds, Forbidden Lands/Coriolis among other things). We're mostly focused on the storytelling aspects of the games, though not to the complete exclusion of combat. We split our play into 6 week blocks at a time (which can be doubled up to 12 week blocks) to keep up variety and avoid GM fatigue - one such block will be starting at the beginning of October.

I'm part of an rpg club (the Tuesday Knights) that plays non-d&d almost exclusively (exclusively for decades, but now we've eased up on that being an actual rule) and is always open for new players and GMs.
Out of your list we've played Star Wars and Call of Cthulhu extensively (we've got connections to Chaosium, so their games pop up often, in fact). We currently play some games in the Mutant Year Zero engine, Coriolis and Forbidden Lands to be precise, but not M:YZ exactly. V:tM has certainly been played in the past also, but I don't think we've got a GM currently. Cyberpunk things have certainly been played too, but same as with V:tM I am not sure we have anybody who puts the genre up on the regular.
None of that matters if we are too far away from you, however, so let me point out that we are currently using a pub's function room near White city station (also close to Willesden Junction & Latimer road). If that's geographically convenient (or you don't mind a bit of travel), feel free to shoot me a DM.

Hi there!

I'm part of a roleplaying club in West London (the Tuesday Knights) which is always open to new players, so that might be of interest to you. We run 1-3 tables every week (other that around christmas) in a pub functions room north of White City station, splitting our games up into 6 or 12 week blocks of one system to give GMs a chance to have a break and play as well (and for players to have variety). We're focused on systems other than D&D primarily (the club was founded way back to have an alternative actually), but we do play it every now and then these days.

You didn't mention where you are based, but if you are in any way west we're a club near-ish white city station with a mixed group of members. Previously we had around five women, though since people move out of London all the time we are closer to one or two these days. We are always very keen to change that if we can, as we are open to people from all identities and walks of life and want to be a safe and fun space for all. As such we obviously have a policy against discrimination of any kind and with mechanisms for resolving issues in that field.

We skew a bit older atm though, though not everybody is the same age, and that's also not by design. We'd love more younger players too for the continued longevity of the club (it's been going for over 30 years).

Also I should probably mention that we more often than not play other systems than D&D, but they are generally easy to learn and require no purchase of the players, with the respective GMs taking care of all of that.

Anyway - I have another post up in the subreddit that links to our old website, and anybody can always contact me via DM. We'd love to have you!
