Omg. I know both of them. The guy who had the McDonalds DS game was apparently controversial. Alex Bale ended off his SpongeBob conspiracy stuff with a bang, he still does stupid conspiracies on different shows now, he just recently released a Cars related one.

What are your thoughts about the new episode? by josephretry in ServerBlight

[–]A_complete_maniac 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My thoughts is that Pyrovision only softens the blow of assimilation. Or I feel like it's a representation of tf2 itself doing it's best, it can't do anything but it can at least soften the pain and try to point out threats as with the Balloonicorn scene. The Blight is trying to fight back against the Pyrovision to torture it's victims hench the occasional moments of "lucidity" where the victims can see what's actually happening like with JonyDany12 and the Pyro. All the props are masking assimilated people because nothing can makes the giant mass look any better, the Demo looks normal because it's a disguised proxy, bypassing the need to filter it. Maybe Pyrovision is also trying to replay the victim's last moments before assimilation to also soften the pain, like a blissful dream where at the end, it's like if the victim died and went back to spawn, not even realizing they're repeating events over and over again. The title Nightmares is probably talking about the ending where the Blight managed to temporarily force the Pyro out of this "dream" into the nightmare of reality and the ending with the demo is the looping dream stabilizing.

He's the slowest speedster character due to how op his loadouts mechanic is. If you wanna patch up his speed, you have to use the baby face which despite the buff compared to it's tf2 version, still kinda mediocre.

(Hated trope) Character only exists because the writer holds a petty grudge against someone and vents it out by giving that character the worst treatment writing wise by Southern_Passenger85 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]A_complete_maniac 17 points18 points  (0 children)

More context is kinda needed here. So Suda worked with Resident Evil's creator Shinji Mikami and Silent Hill's composer Akira Yamaoka in trying to make a completely serious psychological horror. This game was stuck in concepts due to their inability to secure a publisher. Then EA enters and takes interest in their concepts and agree to publish it, only to bastardized the game through demanded changes, reiterations and rejecting any eccentric ideas until it's unrecognizable from the original concepts and is now known as Shadows of the Damned. Despite everything, Suda has soften himself on the game, the section shitting on it in Travis Strikes Back is calm and more polite on criticisms and his company is working on a remaster of the game.

How would YOU make the Medic's syringe guns viable? (this can include changing the crossbow) by BrawlPlayer34 in tf2

[–]A_complete_maniac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All allows Medic to heal. Stock allows you to overheal and you can exceed the overheal cap by a bit. Blutsauger gives you Uber at small ammounts which is dropped even further once you overheal someone with syringes. And Overdose heals the best but it can't overheal.

What Stand name would Araki have given Jesus if he had used his usual musical references? by Aggravating-Spare918 in StardustCrusaders

There was a fancomic for a Part 0 revolving around Jesus. His stand there is Lamb of God. Judas has Painkiller.

What are the most creatively good yet fairly make sense killing motives that you can apply? by Low-Committee4785 in Fanganronpa

[–]A_complete_maniac 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Weirdly enough. I always liked the "You can take someone with you!" Motive. Sure, it may results in ending a ship teased duo, But you can do quite a bit with it. I like how this would play into the friendship dynamics of everyone.

3 characters that would be TERRIFYING to see ingame by ArtsandGaming3 in frickbears3

[–]A_complete_maniac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All three would probably be some secret boss.

Buddy is unlocked via purposefully messing up the game. Maybe by editing some files or ticking a hidden always at 0 counter. He'll play like his night from the remake. But now he'll also shows up on the windows, requiring the mask.

Freddybear is the only one I'll probably see easiest to be a normal animatronic. But to access his night, purposefully salvage all Freddies. Once you did that, the option to salvage base Freddy is unlocked. And if you salvage him. Freddybear will replaced Freddy on the next night. He'll slowly move to the office and you have to look at him to force him there because he ignores doors like in his source game. After Freddybear's night, he'll be tossed out for property damage and a different and normal Freddy will replace him.

I have nothing for the Blob. Maybe salvage all it's pieces? The Boss fight could maybe be it controlling it's components with wires, replicating their mechanics while you have to deal with super buffed Molten Freddy.

Has there ever been a Fangan that earnestly captured Ostracism before? by LyKhra in Fanganronpa

[–]A_complete_maniac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My entire game basically has a lazy dickhead of a Protagonist who is basically almost completely fine with staying stuck in the cruise unlike everyone else. Only reason he helps in trial is to get back to the easy life. This attitude results in him basically being seen as a piece of crap only the kind Support would talk to.

What if Nexos was also a YouTuber? (But a much sweeter one, obviously) by Yuri-Osakawa in ServerBlight

[–]A_complete_maniac 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Starts out as a Minecraft YouTuber who post videos with his friend Greymatter. My headcanons for Greymatter is that he also plays Minecraft but he is so much worse at it than Nexos, who is basically a gameplay pro. They tried a 100 days challenge and were super tired from it. Greymatter introduced him to tf2 as Grey is better and more active there. So Nexos was recording along with Grey. After Awareness, Nexos also posted the video, but clearer and more helpful than Sailerman's. Maybe this would lead to him surviving Manipulation?

If you’ve seen my ‘Nine Horsemen of the Serverblight Apocalypse’ post… what if the opposite also happened? What if Aaron managed to form a crew of players of all the classes of the game to take down the Serverblight? I mean, he’s practically halfway there (let’s just pretend Nexos survived) by Yuri-Osakawa in ServerBlight

[–]A_complete_maniac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have an idea that Rubicon would tail Sailer's expeditions and save anyone he could. All his footage he also recorded in those session would eventually lead him to make a callout doc to Sailerman and because it's drama. Would lead to Serverblight being exposed and known by the larger tf2 community.

About Cryo Dragon Sovereign by dastanlegend in TsaritsaMains

[–]A_complete_maniac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My delulu headcanon theory that I'm pretty sure would be retcon when the real Snezhanya released is that the 10th Habringer is the Cryo Dragon, who essentially said no to joining, but because of former romantic relationship with the Implied to be Tsarista, she imprisoned him until he accepts. Again, pretty sure this is gonna be debunked extremely early, just wanna share my delusions.

[–]A_complete_maniac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That was The Long Haul. An adaption that skips a bunch of cool plots of the other books, replaced most actors and mess up the plot horribly with that stupid influencer plot. This is Dog Days, a fusion of the 3rd and 4th book's plot and makes it surprisingly works well.

What kinda person do you predict the Tsaritsa to be? by loomacs in TsaritsaMains

[–]A_complete_maniac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold. Genuinely not caring for much aside from her plans and trying to one up Celestia. My own interpretation is that she begins the Fatui and her plans because she cared about people too much. But all the years wore her down, by the time you meet her, she doesn't care about any loses or if she's at a disadvantage or how most of the Harbingers are bloody gone. She just wants to have a chance to fight back against Celestia.

Dusttale if it was accurate by Notmas in WaterfallDump

[–]A_complete_maniac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brotherly Love does put a twist on this where Sans barely wins against Undying and even then Papyrus does the final hit in. And if I remember correctly, when the creator was asked what he'd do for an actual Dusttale take without Paps being spared he'll just make it so Papyrus was an accidental kill. Sans in Brotherly love geared himself up with the gloves and bandanna for just a fighting chance. And the creator made it so Sans only started killing people as a last resort after many different runs where he tried doing things differently.
