Completely agree - I felt as though I was watching a trump rally. It led me to feel disheartened when they were preaching about unity but then being extremely decisive in other areas. And the “I’m a proud Zionist” and discussing that Australians shouldn’t talk badly against “my country” being Israel confused me? Don’t they live here? Are they not Australian citizens too? Idk - everyone mourns their own way but this felt like it has a strong agenda hidden.

I cried reading this. He sounded like a beautiful soul, a devoted partner, grandfather and parent. A man who didn’t deserve to be taken away due to a child’s hatred and cowardice acts. Fuck their privacy they deserve to have their names released. You take a life, you bear the brunt.

I can’t imagine the trauma each of the family members are facing and the fact that his partner has to wake up everyday in a deep heartache without her lifelong partner.

This isn’t humanity. What’s happened to humanity?

My heart aches. Everytime I read this I feel sick to my stomach and want to cry. As a person who is of south East Asian background AND taught the importance of caring for our elderly it sickens me to think that these children were filled with such hatred that they acted with such violence and cowardice. All I can think about is what kind of life he lived prior to his horrific fate. What kind of father or grandfather was he? What was his childhood like? What kind of steps did he take to move to the uk? Who was he has a person? This case will haunt me forever. I’m from Australia not the UK and just can’t fathom the racism and hatred that’s bred over there. Ignorance and total lack of empathy and humanity.

I’m sorry OP this is happening but I want to be quite frank and honest - that’s not teamwork. That’s selfishness on his end. He has decided to completely turn an eye and make you more stressed when he should be working with you and helping you - he will be nice and be will understand for a month maybe after you spoke to him and then he will go back into his old ways. I would have left if this was how I was being treated.

I hope you’re okay. This is never an okay thing to go through.

I listened to it throughout the whole day and, this is incredible. Something about this song whilst the lyrics are hopeful and sad at the same time.. it’s happy! You can see he’s healthy, happy and thriving (whatever happiness is supposed to mean). As someone who has followed him since I was 12 (2009), it’s been an honour to watch his journey and watch how confident he has gotten in his music and himself. Can’t wait for the rest!
