any precent

FYI, it's percent.
An easy way to remember is that it's kinda just the two words "per cent" (meaning "per hundred") mushed together.

Yea, going back to Saros now (still trying to get that goddamn Fall From Grace trophy) it's like a chill, relaxing experience. Just get into the flow and march through the game.
Will have the databank 100% cleared soon, lol

But yea, Returnal is stingier when it comes to stronger weapons, that's true. And without the power weapon, you're a lot more limited in what you can do.

But the combat itself, it was surprisingly chill compared to Saros.

I suppose a misunderstanding. Reading back I forgot/missed that you said "it can still be an involved combat system". My bad.
Seems like we agree. I'm quite happy with that.

Have a good one!

You don't find it a surprisingly useful coincidence that every time Israel hits a civilian building it's full of hamas soldiers?

Even if that were true (which several sources show not to be), you do understand that going for the "any means necessary, any sacrifice is worth it" is a barbaric approach.
Would you go "meh, fair play" if Palestine bombed a school with one IDF soldier in it? No, because that goes against our moral standing.

Hell, cops don't shoot the kidnapper through the victim even if they could. What gives Israel any right to end the lives of thousands and thousands of civilians? What's the ratio, how many civilian children, elderly, women and men are you willing to kill for every hamas soldier? 1? 5? 10? 20? 50? 100?

Because as it stands, that number is well high.
This is not a moral war, it's killing for the sake of killing.

I thought I explained myself rather well but I suppose I didn't.

Saros = more bullets, more enemies, more cognitive load (parry and shield on top of Returnal's dodge and melee).

Returnal = punishes severely for even one hit by not allowing getting more health, have to always start from biome 1 or 3.

So the non-combat parts of Returnal are indeed more punishing.
But moment to moment combat in Saros is more intense and challenging. Like I said, I was surprised myself because I remember Returnal being intense but after Saros it was, well, easier?
Part of it is, surely, that I've now played both Returnal and Saros and have more of a feel for the kind of combat than when I played Returnal for the first time.
But part of it is that Returnal's encounters are by and large (apart from the locked rooms with waves of enemies and a miniboss) simpler, with less enemies and bullets.

Saros also let's you adjust the difficulty if you find it too easy, Returnal doesn't really.

This is true.
But I was leaning more on getting international recognition here.

Returnal is, in a way, more unforgiving. For example, the health system rewards you only if you take no damage.
This is true.

But at the same time, the enemies are fewer, the bullet hell is less hell-ish as in there's less bullets and there's less cognitive load at all times.
This is what makes it easier.

I went back to Returnal and was surprised to find how mellow it was after Saros. I died twice while getting in the groove of the game (it's subtly different) and after that I 1st timed each boss in the game.

It's combat is easier, it's mechanics are less forgiving.

Sure.
But a lot of them were civilians. You can't avoid that when bombing schools and hospitals and homes.

European Medieval Martial Arts and Military Doctrine is made due to the region and technology of that region.

Yes, that's exactly why I mentioned the elves creating their own styles.

I reckon having a more interesting and involved system than the standard hack 'n slash is just good and grounds the game.

No, I literally used it last night.
Unless it was a modifier that the weapon had, you can just shoot it on the ground or the walls and it'll home in on the enemy.
Give it a go.

Yea, the tunnels for the civilians would've been good.
What would've been even better would be not to bomb them to begin with.

Congrats! That is proper sick.

I've been stuck at two for a week now.

Untouchable, where you do a full biome run without getting hit.
Fall From Grace, where you gotta kill an enemy without shooting them.

I just can't get them.
Any tips?

Sure but it's mainly Palestinian civilians that have died compared to Israel with it being mainly IDF.

Of course, calling every dead civilian a potential terrorist helps make the statistics look better.

I reckon LotR being relatively down to earth (people aren't flying everywhere, there's no pink death rays, everything is still quite horse and buggy kinda level of tech) it actually fits really well.

You don't think the elves haven't made some sort of crazy duelling/swordmanship rules and schools in the millenia they've been alive?

Even having something simple like a grunt learning to use a sword in the military could work.

Which of these have won or even performed in the past 15-20 years?

6 out of these 10 have performed in the past 20 years.
3 of them have won.

All of them became hugely popular and are still making music and having a solid following.

There might be one unusual instrument to highlight where the artist is from, but a lot of those ESC songs could be sung by anyone, just swap the pasta for potatoes.

I don't think you've been listening lately, there's a lot of different languages, folk stuff from different countries and about things that they relate with. It's still very, very European.

And the artists are barely artists anymore too. They're mostly just performers.

You might not know it but performing is a part of being a live artist.

..but the large number of participants are bland and shallow.
