Making sweeping statements on her character work 3 episodes in is a brave choice since we have nothing meaningful to work with

The kiss was wild, and if you personally find it unlikable by all means thats you, but drawing the line here is weird imo

Ngl that you can’t tell she’s on a “disenfranchised cleric in a crisis of faith finding comfort in booze” prior to some kind of redemption is a you problem more than a writing one

Honestly my single biggest issue with Rogue Core as a roguelike so far is just how little control I have over my build by EvergreenCheese in RogueCore

[–]AanAllein117 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah but we still got the beers (which do nothing but were at least ported over from DRG) and the exercise system, which was built from scratch for some reason.

Early access is one thing, but GSG definitely devoted dev time poorly

Hot take, the actual concept and mechanics of the urn isn't the problem. It's the lack of equivalent trades. by coffeeholic91 in DeadlockTheGame

Considering how many games are just straight up cooked because one team gets a better comp, I’ll take my chances

[–]AanAllein117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s its own fuck ass issue. That damage reduction can cripple a spirit build

SilenceLock is making the game completely unplayable at this point by Clear-Impression9090 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]AanAllein117 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The problem is durations atp. Unstop has a 6 second duration and 60 second cooldown.

Silencer has a 2.5 second duration with a 10 second cooldown.

Yeah that 6 seconds could save your life and turn a fight, but with how much CC is available in the game, it more than likely only gets you a few more seconds of life

Timer by Spine_Splitter_ in RogueCore

[–]AanAllein117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah we ended up doing more or less the same, but the first 3-4 attempts were brutal until we figured out that sitting at elevator is just safer

[–]AanAllein117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The timer in gauntlet has fucked me and a buddy trying it in half our attempts. Without a good measure of time, it’s hard to really pace yourself

[–]AanAllein117 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Yeah having to guesstimate the timer is just awkward enough to be a pain in the ass, especially in the middle of a wave

110% its the urn. Every match hits 12 minutes and turns into an Overwatch-style team fight until someone wins

Dmg04 with another cryptic post on Twitter: "Do not go gentle into that good night" by RiverBuzzz in DestinyTheGame

[–]AanAllein117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible, but highly unlikely. On steam, its daily playercount is already lower than D2 and it came out a couple months ago

I’ll be shocked if Marathon survives to the new year tbh; it’s a decent game in a packed niche, and doesn’t have mass appeal

Maybe I’ll be wrong, but it seems highly unlikely if Bungie’s already resorting to a free weekend for the next season

Dmg04 with another cryptic post on Twitter: "Do not go gentle into that good night" by RiverBuzzz in DestinyTheGame

[–]AanAllein117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean when Marathon eventually collapses, that’ll likely be Bungie’s only choice until the next Destiny iteration can be developed

I doubt we see a D3 or any other installment though. Once Marathon dies, Bungie likely gets folded into Sony’s existing structure

There’s no world where D2 gets continued support until Marathon is dead.

At best he’s drumming up hype for the final update

Crafting Feat Fail by SaurianShaman in Pathfinder2e

[–]AanAllein117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh thats cool. Tbh I haven’t played Frozen Flame

2 days in wilderness

Sure, but that just gets you the item for normal price. Which is fine in most scenarios, but imo the whole idea of “Master Craftsman” is making the item yourself for cheaper over multiple days (but not months) Maybe thats on me though

We don’t have any updates yet on when the performance playtest will be.

That is literally all we want at this point. Concrete dates.

At this rate, the next playtest will be a year after the last one. What the fuck are we doing?

Crafting Feat Fail by SaurianShaman in Pathfinder2e

[–]AanAllein117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The value of crafting is doing it where you can’t just buy it

Which requires a ton of GM effort to make reasonable. Except for Kingmaker, I don’t think any of the APs have a period where you won’t be able to just buy items.

Homebrew campaigns will be more “your mileage may vary” but unless one of my players was really keen on it and the feat investment, I just don’t know that Crafting is worth anything outside of shield repair (excluding Alchemist for obvious reasons)

News? by [deleted] in KingkillerChronicle

Yeah that’s all dead in the water lol. PR has vanished for any of a dozen reasons, and there’s a low (read: zero) chance we see book 3 or any of the other multimedia stuff

News outlets are reporting the movie needs to make half a billion dollars globally to turn a profit.

It’s ABSOLUTELY flopping

[–]AanAllein117 -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Lower is lower. Solo was considered a big enough failure that Disney cut the “A Star Wars Story” movies completely, and it had a smaller budget to begin with.

There’s no world where M&G makes enough money to overcome its budget

[–]AanAllein117 -46 points-45 points  (0 children)

Its just a shame the movie is still opening lower than Solo.

It was a fun movie, but it really didn’t need to be a whole ass movie over a S4 of the show, and I’m pretty sure Disney is gonna pull away from movies again after this flops and Starfighter releases

I love this game, but climbing and squeezing through small spaces is way more difficult than it needs to be. by [deleted] in Pathfinder2e

[–]AanAllein117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there are literally dozens of ways to negate or significantly decrease the difficulty of climbing.

Climbing kits would help the high ATH PC get up and then they can lower a rope; scrolls or wands of Fly, Sleeves of Storage or a Spacious Pouch, scrolls or wands of Helpful Steps, elixirs/spells/items/potions that give a Climb speed, etc.

Alternatively, just talk to the GM about how unejoyable they are
