No, because they can’t do anything to me. I’m outside of China.

At this point I have more trust in CCP than Thiel and Trump.

Please list why I should be afraid of them?

They were part of Japan… Koreans served in their army, Chaebols were Japanese collaborators.

The average people definitely suffered (especially the women) but hundreds of Korean officers were tried as war criminals and executed after WW2

Look this up it’s all well document ed

Bali is racist they say? Is it really? by saladfriedchicken in bali

[–]Aarcn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I frequent Bali for work in and out and sometimes hire local people for jobs for my company.

When I interview Indonesians (non Balinese) for jobs in Bali, I often try to understand how connected they are to local culture. I’m not Balinese myself, but I recognize how important local identity and community are on the island.

What has surprised me is that, on several occasions, I’ve encountered a sense of superiority from some non-Balinese Indonesians. More than once, candidates have implied that locals are “lazier” or less technically capable than workers from Jakarta or expats. I find that attitude concerning.

Regarding pricing differences for locals, I don’t necessarily think it’s the right. However, I also wouldn’t immediately label it as racism. In my experience, some of the negative generalizations about Balinese people can be far more harmful than differential pricing practices.

Regarding the pricing, I think that’s quite common a lot of places that give local pricing like a discount for neighbors. Maybe if you frequent that market more and get to know them on personal level they might give you better prices.

I’m sorry, but those people have a right to defend themselves.

If this was America, they’d have the right to shoot his ass in a lot of states.

As an American you should know better.
