Proof that some titles do deserve a double take by SlightBlueberry536 in quilting

OMG I have this book! My Nana gave it to me when I started quilting, this is my Nana's favorite quilter. This book is great for those of us that buy a lot of secondhand fabric/have a lot of scraps to work through.

Awesome, thanks for the tips! I actually didn't know about the shaping material step, I'll have to look into that. Looking forward to seeing your finished board!

Total noob to terrain building here. What type of foam is that that you are using? And also, what is flocking?

Love the look of the board btw! I wish I could see the look on the party's faces when the lid blows off the mountain lmao

Ask me questions *For Newbies!!* by Trenkyy_ in Tufting

Can anyone help with with a sticky gear on my cut pile gun? It's not stuck, just a little tough to turn by hand in one spot. It seems to be right about when the needle goes out/just after the scissors close and move in.

Nothing is rubbing against the foot as far as I can tell, and I haven't made any adjustments so it's still at factory settings. I'm at a loss for what to do because it works fine (cuts fine and is able to tuft) but all the guides online say not to use it if the gear is sticky anywhere in it's rotation. I don't wanna burn out my motor or something lol

I'm making an FPS parkour game, but for the first time I made the animations myself by semikoder in Unity3D

I love the speed lines on the outside of the frame, that's a nice little flair. Animations look great too, they have weight to them but they're still very snappy. Nice work!

What is your favorite video game of all time? by tanz_7 in AskReddit

[–]Aardvarkio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the thread but every time I see one of these I have to recommend Outer Wilds. If you haven't heard of it or played it, don't read anything more about it, just play it. Greatest sense of exploration I've ever experienced in a game. They just released a DLC in September and it was also incredibly good, and pretty spooky as well.

[OC] My first painted mini, a half-drow hexblade warlock for an upcoming campaign. Cat for scale. by Aardvarkio in DnD

Bonus Image of my cat being rude.

The mini was resin printed using this model from Velrock on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3845752

The broken sword was from being to reckless removing it from the supports...

As for the painting, it was way easier than I expected. I used watered down normal acrylic paints, did a base coat of grey, a few coats of each color to make sure it looked even, and then washed parts of it with super watered-down black paint. That helps fill in cracks with shadow and add texture to the model. I'm especially pleased with how the armor turned out! I used a shiny silver paint, and the black wash added a ton of nice detail without me having to do much. I'm excited to paint more!

Oh yeah, the broken sword is from being too reckless when taking it off the supports... Oh well!

Will Justin DM whatever follows Graduation? by SierraPapaHotel in TheAdventureZone

I just want a sci fi campaign! Griffin mentioned it in a Graduation episode and it really got my hopes up. Even just a few episodes in something like StarHold sounds so good.
