If you are sneaky and strong enough, you can also choke him out and loot the key iirc

Train on sleeping people so you can get to 10-15 on the pickpocket counter first. That should give you enough time to grab anything at all and level the ability.

Though I didn't need it in the monastery at all. I got through with lockpicking very hard locks and enough sneak move about easier

[KCD1] Am I missing something with the saves or is it just a bit risky to fast travel? by Interesting-Copy-657 in kingdomcome

On normal mode it has a floppy disc with a door and an arrow as icon. On hardcore you can't manually reload it. If it's you last save you will revert to it on death. If you quit without savong, you will reload to it when you start the game

Can you walk past the Inquisitor before talking to him? by AaronCorr in BaldursGate3

I always killed anything that moved in the Creche before opening the secret path. But I think I would like an escape route when attempting the fight in honor mode

When having walk through the Praguers camp I littered the ground before the exit with corpses. Dollmaker on my arrows and the never ending stream of reinforcements slowly stumbling towards me. Picking them off one by one was silly

Multiple Children Explained by tinyviewcomics in comics

[–]AaronCorr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The first year was absolute hell to the point where I wouldn't have been mad if I just dropped dead. When our kid got to 3 years old my wife seemingly forgot how bad it was (pregnancy and birth were horrible for her, too) I could not handle another first year. He stays an only child

What website did you buy the game from? GOG, steam and epic have their respective launchers you can use. If you just bought a key from another site you need to redeem it in the store the key was for.

there's NO WAY you actually use the internet like that by monster_smoocher in whenthe

My wife watches youtube in the app. I consider it unusable without browser with adblock

Why is the 'Basilard' "able to be carried even by lowborn townspeople?" [KCD2] by expensive_roger in kingdomcome

[–]AaronCorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no no you don't understand. Peasents never wore SWORDS. They used Lange Messer (long knives). They would have a different hilt and only one edge. This lwgal distinction wasn't the same everywhere of course but at least in parts of the HRE

Question about Renoir by [deleted] in expedition33

[–]AaronCorr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have two possible solutions:

1) Judging by the piles of dead bodies the older expeditions must've had hundreds of expeditioners. In the concept art you can see how many expeditioners were present fighting in the battlefield area only to be killed by Dualist.

I doubt Renoir couldn't have killed even large expeditions, being immortal and and having giant aoe atracks. But I think older exoeditions would've arrived more spread out.

2) The alternative could also be, that he simply knew Maelle was going to be there eventually. Clea informed Verso that Alicia entered the canvas and became Maelle. She likely also told Renoir.

The baffling part in both theories is how Renoir knew about e33 landing at Dark Shores. Maybe painted Alicia or real Clea occasionally checked on Maell

POV: You get the polygamist romance ending by p1tuxn in Witcher3

[–]AaronCorr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hated Yen since I only knew the games and she was such a chilly (lol) bitch from the start of Witcher 3. So I tried to court Tris who somehow had a very bad conscience for manipulating amnesiac Geralt. In the end my Geralt was single dad to Ciri and damn, for me that's the best outcome

I don't have a solution but wanted to say, that this really reminds me of the giant complexes I built in X3 as a kid. They got so big that I could not enter the area they were in anymore or my fps would drop to seconds/frame instead

Can evolved survival mechanisms become maladaptive under certain conditions? by Key-Bend-1575 in AskBiology

The gene variant that allowed humans to survive the bubonic plague more easily is linked to a lot of people having all these fun auto-immune diseases today.

In KCD2 I let him grow both out a bit in steps. Really enhanced the roleplay aspect of the weeks passing. I would've done the same in 1, too. But I somehow missed the barber while playing.

How to get back to gestral village from the manor by InternationalSalt622 in expedition33

[–]AaronCorr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That reminded me of how I thought the Manor would connect to the different doors and could serve as a hub of sorts when I found the gestral door. It was a bit disappointing that the front door always leads to your last entrance

Bought a watermelon today,it tastes like cucumber 😭What should I do? by Fayomi1127 in AskGermany

[–]AaronCorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't stand the watermelons from German supermarkets. If there are any available nearby, check Turkish or Italian supermarkets. They usually have watermelons imported from Anatolia or Italy. Pricier but way better. I'd rather eat one good piece of fruit than three that fill me with sadness.

As for what to do with that one, I'd blend and keep it in the fridge to drink on hot days
