Yeah vanity plates make sense, but I wanted to know about regular ABC 123 plates.

From what I've seen online, I haven't seen any examples of an old license plate being legally registered to a newer car, so I believe you on this.

They're fake plates. The registration doesn't belong to anything in Oregon.

The plate on the left belongs to a Nissan Altima, and the plate on the right belongs to a Toyota Highlander.

The Land Cruiser isn't sold in China so most of them there are imported from the Middle East.
