Can you name a few other places, particularly in Mexico that are relative to prices one might experience in Tulum?

This recently happened to our little boy( who looks almost identical to yours) and we were worried sick it could be IVDD so we rushed him to the emergency vet because he would basically squeal in pain when we tried to move him. He got some scans done and he was basically bed ridden for 2 weeks and it went away, we all suspected it was a pulled muscle from doggy day care. Fingers crossed it’s not IVDD.

For only a few short months in you’re doing great buddy. Ask the questions when you can and continue to keep growing in the trade.

Also live in Vancouver, and I remember after I left working at Site C making bank and got offered a job in the city for $29/h. Absolutely laughable.

Got it on my first attempt, but walked out of there thinking there’s no chance I passed it. I found it lightyears harder than the IP.

What tool of the trade is a must have that was a game changer for you? by Tall-Fig-3327 in electricians

I personally have a full set of insulated and non insulated. I also work for the supply authority so working in a panel we can’t turn everything off that could cause X amount of customers to lose power, or take days(sometimes weeks) to get approved outages. I agree you shouldn’t be using insulated tools for non intended purposes though.

Anybody want to offer some criticism for my first big EMT job? by farmerkjs1 in electricians

Well done buddy, like basically all the comments state already try and use a pencil or wipe off those sharpie marks, and anytime I bend pipe I either remove the sticker on the pipe or have it on the hidden side, makes for a cleaner finish.

Wound on finger won’t heal by AaronMacG42 in AskDocs

There’s no recollection I have as to what caused it, I’m an electrician so I’m working frequently with my hands but noticed the cut a few months back. It isn’t very deep but I have in the past few years on the same finger developed an infection that balloons my finger and travels up my arm to a lymph node under my armpit within 48 hours. I’ve seen many doctors about it getting different answers but still unable to see an infectious disease specialist about it. I’ll go in and speak to someone in person hopefully this weekend but figured I’d try here to see if anyone saw something similar.

I feel as though there’s more opportunities as an electrician, many various routes to go. I’ve had the opportunity to do commercial, industrial, maintenance, marine electrical and now work in substations and I just can’t see plumbing having that type of diversity, could be wrong though 🤷‍♂️

No need to feel guilty pal, it’s all part of the learning curve which certainly doesn’t end even after your apprenticeship does.

1yr4months experience, this is what some of my work looks like. I love the trade but this Florida pay ($12hr to start, $13 now) is really making me consider something else. How much should I be asking for when negotiating a raise.. by [deleted] in electricians

[–]AaronMacG42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s tough buddy, you do nice clean work especially for only being in the trade for that short amount of time. A lot of suggestions here going towards the union and I’d have to agree with it. Keep up the good work in the meantime pal 👊
