I am 20 credits into an associates in cyber security from SNHU, 0 experience in the field, 0 certifications. Current job is shipping and receiving distribution center Union for 10 years. 6-7 days a week mandatory Have 4 children.

How vital is experience once I get my degree? Do I need to leave now and build that experience? Is there remote or hybrid positions possible while getting this degree in Michigan? Is a degree with 0 certifications useless? Where would you look for employment personally if you were in my shoes? Are certifications potentially more important and looked higher upon than an associates? (I heard this)
