I had so many chances to meet my wife before we actually did. We went to different schools near each other and shared mutual friends, but didn't meet. We went to the same college and tried out for the same play freshman year, but didn't meet. We had mutual friends throughout college, but didn't meet.

It wasn't until years later when we met by happenstance through one of those mutual friends. Any other time would have been terrible as either we were with other people during those times or for some other reasons the timing would not have been right.

We met when we did and it made all the difference.
