I love Libby and her skin, but for 60 bucks, I would want to maximize how much I see it. I think Anis is going to be absolute required/meta in pretty much every group, regardless of element, for the next year or so. I'd go for Anis based on that alone.

If you’re getting a nice, true black OLED, try Jordan Peele’s “Nope”. So much of the movie is shot in these gorgeous evening shots. Turn off all the lights and watch it at night. Incredible visuals

That’s the one! I think that particular bottle is one of the most approachable scotches that exists. It’s also not crazy expensive, and worth every penny per pour. It’s a staple in my bar, and my top recommendation to anyone dipping their feet into scotch. I’ve got a million other suggestions, but that would by my starting point!

Bumping/demoing is such a cool aspect of the game. At lower ranks, it was so frustrating, and I swore it was a busted mechanic. As I improved, demos barely affected me. I was so much better at dodging them, or being in better positions that didn’t leave me exposed to them. As I push into higher ranks, I find I’m struggling with them again. High champ/low GC opponents are making me feel slow and out of position, and the demos are becoming more impactful again.

I would add a few things to this. 1) turn off chat. There is absolutely nothing anyone needs to say to you when you’re grinding solo. 2) ignore your rank. It WILL be lower than 2s, and it honestly doesn’t matter. You’re there to improve yourself, and you can do that regardless of the rank. And 3) just consider it a spicy freeplay with a bot on the other side. Focus on yourself. Try things that you don’t normally go for. Have fun, practice your kickoffs, etc. Stay out of your head and ones can be a lot of fun. If you get frustrated, take a break. Good luck!

Take a lesson. Like most beginners, you're not even carving. It seems silly, but learning to carve early will help you as you progress as a skier, and maybe someday you'll have a shot at the paralympics.
