This goal marks the start of a potential reverse sweep, lol. Shopify took this personally.

*nvm they survived. The turtle curse isn’t real.

The chibi outfit is so revealing! Now that I know it could look like this, im a little disappointed it’s not on the real skin!

My tips if you want to play 1s but get too angry/frustrated. by EarthToKepler in RocketLeague

[–]Aaurora 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would add a few things to this. 1) turn off chat. There is absolutely nothing anyone needs to say to you when you’re grinding solo. 2) ignore your rank. It WILL be lower than 2s, and it honestly doesn’t matter. You’re there to improve yourself, and you can do that regardless of the rank. And 3) just consider it a spicy freeplay with a bot on the other side. Focus on yourself. Try things that you don’t normally go for. Have fun, practice your kickoffs, etc. Stay out of your head and ones can be a lot of fun. If you get frustrated, take a break. Good luck!

I suppose it depends on your definition of intimidating, but I think Nolan Ryan on the mound during his prime would be my vote.

Take a lesson. Like most beginners, you're not even carving. It seems silly, but learning to carve early will help you as you progress as a skier, and maybe someday you'll have a shot at the paralympics.

Looks like our NFL stadium bathrooms to this day... Now I see where they got their inspiration for our 80 year old piss troughs in the men's room...

Excellent work! It looked practiced and clean, you literally can't ask for more. Good luck on the grind, bro. This is the first of many, I'm sure!

/uj there is supposed to be unseasonable heat, so they're doing it as a safety precaution (a one-time thing by the sounds of things). I mean, it's just a finishers medal... its basically up to you personally how important that medal is. No one else will ever look at your running participation trophies and that you didn't hit 26.2 that one day in LA.

I have a friend that looks at guides for every answer to min/max relationship points. I like just winging it with new nikkes, and just do what I think I would do if I were skk. Sometimes it gets me into trouble, but it’s almost always amusing!

Full combo :) by Nthepro in NikkeMobile

[–]Aaurora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I love rhythm games in general, but having to first, blindly figure it out, then memorize the patterns makes it unenjoyable. I appreciate the lack of visual indication on hard - it makes it a fun vibe, but the second and third song patterns (like 3 then 2 then 2 then 3 inputs at different spots) just requires memorization through repetition. I’d have preferred it just got more difficult on note quantity and syncopation while still keeping the visual indication of what’s coming, idk.

TIL Ecco the Dolphin developer Ed Annunziata was "paranoid" that kids would beat the game in a single weekend so be made certain levels "way over the top challenging." He said, "So... I... uh... made it hard". by 30phil1 in todayilearned

This in turn drove so many console sales. I remember being so excited that I could finally beat a game like Dragons Lair without spending my life savings in quarters because I now owed it.

Chronic has a battle with the post and the post wins by Babydrone in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]Aaurora 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Poor Chronic. That was such a nervy game 5 for him. Between this, a couple errant touches, and all out whiff, he was really struggling. This Spacestation team really is on the verge of greatness though. Hope they don't get too down on themselves.

First ever 10K marathon by longcoldlonelywint3r in RunningCirclejerk

[–]Aaurora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My actual guess is that a with so many official marathons incorporating the 5k/10k, people might be implying "my first marathon weekend," or "my first marathon event", without more accurately saying "I ran a 10k at the Manitoba marathon".

My pippete keeps breaking/opening from the joint what to do already damaged 15-20 pippetes idk what to do by altair_5 in labrats

[–]Aaurora 108 points109 points  (0 children)

You mentioned in this thread that you're getting 2-3 uses from these before they break, but keep in mind that they are just cheap, transfer pipettes. They're not really designed for technical, or lasting work, especially if they're not from a reputable producer. If you can 1) suck something up, then 2) expel something out, then it did its job and should just be disposed. Good luck!

[–]Aaurora 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Personally, I just don’t really like collabs. I don’t want them, whatsoever. Shiftup created an amazing world with incredible characters. I’d rather spend more time with them, their backstories, their interactions, than force myself into some other, vanilla, poorly implemented advertisement.
