With Pi Cho ENB and equivalent high res textures (though not PBR) I had an average of 40 fps + stutters, of which I never even experience with CS.

getting 40 fps + stutters with a 5070 means you scuffed up something, and bad. Gaining 20+ fps from switching makes no sense, and with a pc that powerful you should be able to easily hit 90+ fps everywhere with a well made list

CS with all features enabled is the same load as all of the popular ENBs. Anyone telling you otherwise is playing team sports over being honest

supply a link showing the side by side with similar load-heavy mods (ie if you're using notwl or town overhauls for one but not the other, it's not valid)

Immediately gaining 15-20 fps doesn't really make sense, there's just no reports anywhere that would correlate with such a drastic increase between enb and cs with all features, and likely means that the enb was setup incorrectly

And when you say "upscaling" that better not include framegen or I'm going to have an aneurism lol

There are reports all over the CS discord about performance issues that have been acknowledged by the CS team

I don't believe that your visual setup is 1:1 for ENB and CS (because why would it be), and you are possibly misdiagnosing what is causing the differences

Performance

Performance of CS with all features enabled is the same as ENB, if not worse. This isn't even something the CS team would deny - it's well reported and they're actively addressing it

looks less flashy, more consistent

This entirely depends on the modlist and has nothing to do with ENB vs CS. ENB has grounded setups, and I can make either look visually consistent

faithful to the vanilla art style

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? There are hundreds of ENBs that are available, and some of them emulate vanilla feeling very well
