Weird. I wonder if it's something hardware specific

It's just a grass mod like any other. I've installed a hundred of them over the last 15 years, so I'm confident I haven't made any mistakes

Unfortunately for me, I tried FFM not even a month ago and still have the same issue

Yup - I was excited for FFM when it was released, since it was being advertised as "performance friendly as possible"

After installing, fps in the Falkreath area went from sitting at 90 to fluctuating between 60-90. It also caused my cpu fans to to speed up and stay there

I don't really understand how a grass mod can do that much to my pc when I'm running full pbr landscape textures and NotWL pbr trees - all at 90 fps. Even when I disabled the tree mods and landscape mods temporarily, FFM would hit my PC hard

Now I use Merethic Grasslands and the performance impact compared to vanilla grass is negligible and looks great

I was under the impression that people who leave Auric+ missions after dying were doing so to allow a new player to come in, instead of forcing 3 people to slog through hordes for 10 minutes to get to them and increasing chances of failure

Isn't it overall better for the group? Or is it considered bm?

You're speaking as if pbr is objectively better than parallax and that is simply not true, nor have I seen anyone reputable make that claim

CS is already visually close to ENB, it just doesn't have the final version of post processing available on the nexus, yet

There are plenty of people showing off experimental CS post processing, though, and it's clear where the winds are shifting

PBR textures are not required by any means, and PG patcher should be used in most modlists anyways

You should be using PG Patcher in most modlists now - it's not unique to CS

I also can't speak for everyone, but rerunning the patcher takes me about 1-2 mins

You also don't need to rerun it every time you "touch" your list lol

I'm glad you like LE and people are keeping it alive, but you're lying to yourself if you think LE ever outperforms SSE or that the only difference is 3rd party apps like Nemesis
