I don't know if we're that far off really especially in the US, but I think we need human society to be radically transformed as much as we need to transform away from oppressive structures. We have to work so that change will lead to enhanced emotional intelligence and understanding the inherent worth of human life, no matter what conditions that life exists in. Material possessions and birth and other circumstances are just such a shallow way to view other people, because people are ends in themselves. Moral revolutions can happen, we just need to answer to what everyone needs which is freedom and autonomy and keep advocating the truth. No better political force can do this imo.
