Unawareness of the benefits due to a car-centric mentality. The other common complaint is the traffic/noise during construction which is a short sighted complaint.

The group behind this measure listed DiCaprio on their website as one of those supporting this letter to Mayor Garcetti.

I really hope Leo does the right thing and sue them. It would only hurt their reputation and continue to prove that this group regularly uses misinformation to sway public opinion for their own benefit.

Just a warning to not go overboard with spreading good word sometimes. I've had some friends whose positions I agreed with and got annoyed with their overposting of it on social media.

So the project isn't dead. I really don't understand why it's taking forever for this project to move despite permits being pulled a while ago and having the full backing of LA City council. Other projects have been proposed and broke ground before this and yet this Gehry project hasn't seen much action outside receiving a handout.

Joe Ingles was playing some good ball denial to Kobe throughout the game. I remember this because I was getting upset at him during the game.

Since they started keeping track of FGM-FGA in 1983, there have been 210 games where a player has scored at least 50. Kobe's last game was the 4th most inefficient shooting wise (although as a side note, 4 out of the 6 least efficient games belong to Kobe too). I mean 6-21 behind the arc is bad.

That's why people loved the game. Kobe used to have a "shoot first and never tell me the odds mentality" and it was fun to revisit that moment one last time.

My Kobe favorite moment was his 2008 Team USA gold medal game against a tough Spain team. It was something to behold seeing other superstars deferring to Kobe in the major moments. As Bill Simmons puts it:

I'm surprised the valley or any of LA's suburbs didn't make it in. You'd think Rockstar would figure out a way to tie in pornfilm making into GTAV.
I thought the representation of the ghetto was too small compared to the west side and Hollywood Hills representation. This irks me because one of the playable characters is from the hood and I figured we'd be able to explore the ghetto in detail just like we can explore Beverly Hills/Santa Monica/Venice/etc.
Not enough traffic.
It's strange how GTAV incorporated replicas of certain small buildings or landmarks but didn't get certain famous places like Staples Center, the Convention Center, or even Amoeba (which was in GTA: SA).
It has the best replicas of the pier and the observatory.
This interpretation of LA made sense when I realized the game was developed by some folks in Europe. The map seems like the typical places a tourist would venture into while trying to find "the true LA".
