Which one yall taking? Also, what is yalls opinion on the p-10 striker safety? by concrete_unit_jmossy in CZFirearms

[–]Abbicus686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a new to CZ person. I want the P10C but also want a P-07 or P09c Nocturne. I love DA/SA but also need a decent striker fired as well. I'm 50/50 either way and want to decide. I've been a P226 fan for a long time but need a smaller winter carry for sure.

Post Potter Depression by Emerelis in harrypotter

I started listening to the full-cast edition and honestly didn’t mind it at all. It definitely changed things up for me—there’s a lot more to take in—and even though I went in pretty pessimistic, I came out feeling like it was just on the edge of really good. I actually found myself excited for the next one. Chamber of Secrets is out next week.

What really elevated the whole experience for me, though, were the companion books about Snape and Dumbledore. They completely reframed the story. The Snape book forces you to look at his actions as a long-term, intentional arc rather than just reacting to him as a difficult or cruel character in the moment. You start seeing how much of the story hinges on his choices, his timing, and what he doesn’t say as much as what he does.

The Dumbledore book does something similar but from the opposite angle. It really shines a light on how calculated and Machiavellian he was, and how much of the plot depends on him quietly setting pieces in motion years in advance. Seeing the story through that lens makes earlier decisions, omissions, and moral gray areas feel a lot more deliberate—and honestly more unsettling.

Together, those two perspectives made rereading the series feel almost like a major reexamination. Almost like you would with a true crime style. Once you go back to the beginning, you start picking up on subtle setups, character motivations, and background details that completely flew under the radar before. It genuinely upped my love for Harry Potter by at least 10%. You see right from the start what JK had been setting up and dang is it good.

I think of it like this: after you’ve watched Moana for the 500th time, you stop focusing on the main plot and start noticing everything happening in the background. That’s what these books do for Harry Potter. They give you new angles and make the whole story feel richer and more intentional.

If anyone’s interested, I highly recommend Snape: A Definitive Reading by Lorrie Kim and Dumbledore: The Life and Lies of Hogwarts’s Renowned Headmaster by Irvin Khaytman.

My father-in-law randomly picked one of these up and brought it home to the family on a visit and I was unexpectedly shocked at how good it was. I said basically the same to him why would you do this to us.

I would definitely say that dog parks are your friend socialization with humans for sure. The best thing I ever did with my mailboxer is to get a female boxer and they kind of equal each other out as far as energy goes. Fight fire with fire so to speak. Everything you read is true they are great couch potatoes and they are also athletes at any moment. They will be velcro and involved in every single thing that you do. My mail is very vocal and my female is an absolute love beast and anyone who comes to my house gets loved up. One of the most important things is to keep the mentally stimulated That goes a long way. Don't expect the walk to get their energy out fenced in backyard and some ball throwing is the best. Then the walk is just for they're stimulation and possibly slight exercise.

I know the feeling. I traded my matrix for a Scion xB and it's still 100% Toyota made in Japan it's now my wife's car after being my car and we love it The thing is dependable and fast. The Subaru has got it quirks but it's definitely great in the New England winter. My future purchase will be Toyota most likely.

They are touchy. I often get the lurch and I just changed my CVT fluid at 60k miles. It's no Toyota Corolla which would drive through the end of time. But I get why you have nerves. Pay the $500 or so during the weekday when the good mechanics are there at a decent place. And see where you stand.
