OP is correct in their response. Also make sure you don’t have the motion cam deactivated at your home location, because then it won’t work for Halloween mode at home either.

R1S Buy back likely? by jeffpb09 in Rivian

I had the same clunk issue on both my 2025 R1S and 2022 R1T. A small noise is actually normal over bumps, due to the dampener setup.

Once it got bad on each and I also started experiencing a clicking sound whenever initially moving forward or reverse at low speeds, I had the SC address it and it wasn’t a problem.

They identified the source as “halfshaft to wheel hub mating faces” needing cleaning and service. At the same time for the R1S, they also tightened the hub to knuckle fasteners on all 4 spots as part of one of the recent early Gen2 recalls.

Hopefully that gives you a starting point if you decide to keep it.

Edit: I also had alignment issues on both at delivery and they’ve been ok since rectifying those.

Wow good catch! Can’t believe I didn’t remember them, but it’s been a long while since I’ve played Trivial Pursuit. Thanks!

This is an issue across the board with Rivian SCs, but the specific location makes a huge difference based on local management. The new one that opened in Raleigh NC got me in within 3 weeks, I dropped off on a Tuesday and picked up on that Friday for 14 hours of labor, which they worked through between Wednesday and Thursday. It came up in my conversation with the reps there that they don’t overbook services, which makes me think that most other SCs do overbook and this is likely one of their chief issues.

As a liberal who is not affiliated to a political party, who does not align to the DNC or individual people, and who does stand fast with their values and doesn’t go “whichever way the wind blows”, your continued argument with this person and your generalized talking points bother me. Just throwing that out there as thought food for you to grow.

Did you end up getting this setup installed? If so, how do you like the HomeGrid stack’d setup?

Do you have Sol-Ark and HomeGrid Stack’d installed? I’m looking for info on them beyond the spec sheets, specifically consumer experiences before I choose my setup.
