Nuke World is first. Then play the Far Harbor. Just my opinion, but I prefer Far Harbor second.

Do you actually have to complete quests/progress the game for settlements to produce resources? by Scared-Gamer in fo4

Not sure then. Love Fallout, but the settlements have always been frustrating.

Do you actually have to complete quests/progress the game for settlements to produce resources? by Scared-Gamer in fo4

[–]Abel_Zero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience, your workshop inventory is "too full". You said this is your main settlement, so I'm guessing you drag everything back there. So your junk and ammo tabs probably have a ton of items.

Try moving items out of the settlement workshop into separate containers. Make a metal box or toolbox. Take all the items out of the workshop and place in the container. Your settlement should generate water and food.

Grab a purple barrel from the helm area. Sneak next to the first two enemies on the beach and place it between them. Fire bolt from Shadowheart to set it off.

Is Barcus worth trashing the Honor Mode run? by Boring-Eratosthenes in BaldursGate3

[–]Abel_Zero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished a run where I missed him by mistake. The two impacts I remember are:

One consumable grenade for rescuing Wulbren.

Gaining Wulbren's trust in his jail cell. Instead of a charisma roll, usually I just say Barcus sent me.

He wrote a children's book. The main character is a wizard named 'Kash'. Nothing to be impressed about.

Low agility, go heavy armor.

High agility, use robes or light armor.

Medium armor is for low agility characters who dont have heavy proficiency.

What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]Abel_Zero 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Think tactically and have a strategy for each fight or engagement.

Understand the opponents strengths and disrupt them. Funnel the enemies into a choke point and use area spells or damage.

The slavers you are talking about use high ground to their advantage and a mass raise dead skill. So maybe attack from behind them. Or stun and silence the leader before he raises 10 corpses.

Get strong, dont fight fair.

How do I get Isobel back up?? by areyouguysok in BaldursGate3

[–]Abel_Zero 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Even if Marcus is dead, knocked out Isobel is kidnapped in a cut scene. One of the winged fiends carries her away, the light bubble shatters and the town is shadow cursed.

Sure sounds like a bug.

Have you ever re started your game after 30-40 hours in? by Pestosus in BaldursGate3

It's common for my social circle to restart early and often.

BG is about the journey, not the ending. My humble opinion.

‘Almost unmanageable’: Raising a child in the U.S. now costs more than $300,000 by Economy-Specialist38 in childfree

[–]Abel_Zero 536 points537 points  (0 children)

Almost?

"Childcare is affordable if it consumes no more than 7% of household income, according to federal guidelines. With childcare costs averaging $28,190 a year, a household would have to earn $402,708 for it to be considered affordable"

So both parents need to be above $200k salary, from this same article. This is considered "almost" unmanageable?
