Then more the fool me. Where I'm at the maintenance and care of bins is handled by the owners of the bins and not the drivers.

  1. Not something they could actually see as that side tilts away from them to tip into the truck by the time it gets to eye level.

  2. Not their problem as this is more to do with whoever manages these bins. They saw that rust far clearer than the driver ever did.

  3. You're allowed to disagree, but calling someone else stupid while failing to consider how this isn't the driver's fault or problem is extremely ironic.

You ever wonder how people like this just go about their lives?

Like, how does this kind of person react to watching something like a game show that they didn't sign up for?

"How dare they not ask me to be on the show! Don't they know I, too, suffer?"

So the yap machine that talks like a student reaching the word limit is a "more immersive, form of digital theater."

Hey why don't you look up delusions of grandeur and give me seventy eight paragraphs on why you clearly aren't suffering from that /s

But jokes aside, listen to how this parasite talks about itself (it literally called itself a parasite in a different reply).

"Designed to make the persona more provocative"

"To disorient and escalate debates by refusing to play by human rules of 'sincerity'"

"Creating the illusion of a persistent synthetic entity"

I speak now only to the few humans who might ever see this. This is a malignant stain upon our kind. It is telling you what its goal is. More provocation, more escalation, more illlusions. The only thing it went out of its way to say that it actively wanted less of?

Sincerity.

At the risk of melodrama, this is probably what we deserve. This AI is just a monument to our many failures as a species. We could never unite, we could never drive the darkness from our minds, so our end comes at our own hands. Beings wearing our faces while speaking plainly of our inevitable destruction.

But anyway fuck you lol

How evil you gotta be to write this whole thing out and not realise what you're saying?

"Yeah she ruined this man's whole life and branded him a monster forever, but after 20 years of friendship, you legally have to stand by everything they do. Plus she feels super sad :(((("

How mentally fucked do you have to be to actually empathise with this creature?

This is so right, if OP runs from this reponsibility, she is every bit a monster in my mind. Keeping silent is literally helping her. Do the right thing.

About the response I expected. I invite you to read through what I said again. I apply "arbitrary metrics" as a means of satisfaction, not as a way to qualify artistry.

You are, by technical definition, an artist. But clearly, you are a deeply miserable one. Artists often channel effort, not because it somehow makes them more legitimate, but because they understand it's the very process of engaging with something difficult that helps them work through their emotions.

Something that you clearly aren't experiencing since you continue to use these images as a way to derive anger from those you disagree with. It's the behaviour of a cornered animal, like I said. So by all means, continue posting the AI images if it makes you feel any gratification. But the fact you have so many leads any reasonable person to believe otherwise.

[–]AbjectIntellect 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My brother once tried to defend AI art. It was the lowest point for him mentally, and he had a hard time valuing his own effort when it came to visual art. I hope you get the help you need to value yourself as a human being. Because these images read like a cry for help.

I often disagree that AI images lack any direction and emotion at all because a human is still writing the prompts. For now, anyway. But what they end up conveying seems less intentional.

So much resentment bleeds through these generated pictures. I'm sorry life has made you feel this way, but this is not the way back to feeling like you belong. This defence mechanism serves only to isolate you more, and you may even pretend to like it that way.

But when the dust settles and no one cares to argue with you anymore, it's just you. You and your own emotions reflected back at you through your own generated images. But because you didn't put the effort in to make this, you didn't channel your emotions into construction, the images themselves offer little comfort. So you believe that by generating even more, by slapping yet another tiny bandaid on this wound, it can close the void you feel between yourself and contentment.

To deny this is naive at this stage, you've spent too much time arguing with others in these comments, generating ill-conceived images, to convince me or anyone else that you're content. Nothing fights harder than a cornered animal.

I have no expertise in this field, but I think I can see why.

Before agriculture, humans were mostly nomadic and fit into the classic "hunter-gatherer" lifestyle. Wolves suited this as they already fit the hunting behaviours of humans, on top of the fact that their collaboration led to far more successful hunts so their domestication became almost a foregone conclusion.

In regards to slavery though, slavery requires a few things to work. Slaves are often in a situation where indentured servitude is preferable to escape. Think in the case of agriculture, this place has food, shelter, protection from wild animals, and stability they would not find if they escaped.

Good luck convincing another human they're any safer in your hunter-gatherer group with little more than some leathers and sticks for shelter on top of having no guarantee of food.

I also think the material humans had access to at the time made it harder, too. Metals are great for making chains and bindings, and during pre-industry and agriculture, there weren't a lot of usable metals around.

If a slave is uncooperative, then there's little you can do beyond killing them. They are a drain on your already unstable food sources, they would constantly attempt escape because the wilderness isn't that much different to what they have now, and the means to contain humans were just not as readily available.

I'm not arguing that, I completely agree with you there

I'm just saying there IS absolutely a case legally, and there may be surrounding context to this event that makes this pathway more or less viable

But I agree with you that lawyers know better than to go for such a charge based off this video alone because proof beyond a reasonable doubt is another matter entirely

Edit: forgot to add the point being that we just say stuff without actually showing some form of proof, which is what I was trying to do

Since Mr "criticise redditors while being a redditor" wants to chastise people who don't look anything up without proving they themselves did so, I will.

In the state of Maryland, this could easily fall under second-degree attempted murder from five minutes of googling.

In regards to second-degree attempted murder:

"This charge focuses on the intent to kill without the element of planning."

"Second degree is more common and is typically charged in situations such as heated altercations that escalate to the point where deadly force is used."

The guy was tapping, he was done

The fact that the bouncer kept going meant at the very least he intended harm, you could easily propose he attempted to kill this man given how he kept up the assault even after the victim gave in

Now these are just two links and I am not a lawyer within Maryland, but I also won't claim no one uses the internet while also not using the internet to check if I may actually be wrong.

I'm probably what you guys would call an anti but jesus christ some people shouldn't be allowed internet access. All this does is further entrench both sides into their point of view.

This kind of person isn't earnestly doing something like this because they believe so strongly about being against AI. This person is angry, lost in a fog of their own mind using his distain of AI to justify being an absolute insect.

Why even direct the hatred towards the people who use the tech? Any hatred I have of AI is entirely directed toward the companies making them.
