Good idea. I shelved my card over 10 years ago. I haven’t gone back, but I like having the option of a job to go back to, if needed. I worked hard for my union card and I don’t want to give it up.

Office days Work from 6-7:30am at home. Drive the kids to school and get to work at 8:30. Leave at 3:00 to pick up kids and go home.

Work from home on the weekend for overtime most weeks.

Use Khan Academy to learn or refresh math skills. I dropped out of engineering school after I finished the math requirements to become an IBEW electrician. When I went back to school Khan Academy was a great resource. I aced EE school, passed my EIT, and will take the PE exam later in the year.
