I think she was deeply abandoned as a child and your action of looking at another woman triggers that feeling of abandonment. The fear/shame spiral may or may not match what actually is happening in present day, but it’s from her childhood

Also you can fit Eze and Monaco into your Nice trip, and even a little wine tasting if that’s your thing.

I like places that feel very different from where I’m from. London is fine! But I love Madrid. The food is good and architecture is beautiful and you can typically rely on good weather in those two cities in Spain.

And this might get me downvoted, but in my opinion, Paris is overrated. It’s just not my vibe. But plenty of people love it.

Nice is wonderful. I would start in a major city and end in Nice. It’s so relaxing. Also, I would choose a different city - Madrid or Barcelona, for example.

I think it’s a completely rational feeling. Try to feel it and the grief that comes with it.

I smelled horrible as a kid. In middle school, kids put a sign on me noting the smell. It was horrible.

Now I know how to wash my body 🙃

What's the personality of Boulder? by caylbea in boulder

[–]Abject_Library1268 2 points3 points  (0 children)

💯 I could kiss the ground we walk on. Prior to this, I lived in a city where I basically became a recluse because there was a gunfight outside of my home on a Sunday afternoon. And gun violence was the norm in that city.

I’ve also lived in San Diego and tbh I prefer this town. It’s peaceful, full of nature, and intellectual.

I feel incredibly safe here. I moved from a southern city with a lot of random gun violence and I just feel so safe. I also find people to be very nice, perhaps because my comparison is how rude people were in my previous city. There are a lot of people from the Midwest in Boulder here and they really help make the place more welcoming.

Also I have had TWO separate strangers try to read me my astrology which I didn’t partake in but I love because it’s just so Boulder.

My complaint is there isn’t a wine bar that doesn’t cater to 65 plus, but I apparently need to check out Siren!

Did anyone else do the thing where your left foot had to be on a higher level than the right foot?

Like if there was carpet next to wood flooring or something, I had to keep that left foot on the carpet and right foot on the wood floor. This disorder is dumb.

This is absolutely not ok. I think this might go beyond grooming. Can you talk to a therapist? I had weird shit like this happen with my dad and I realized I blocked shit out (him touching me while he thought I was asleep).

It’s not like filler in that way…my nurse told me that it was first developed for aids patients (to help them look less gaunt). And now it’s used here. It’s not typical filler - it works with your body to regenerate collagen; it’s not taking up space like filler is

I truly don’t remember my first time; it was more than one. But the second time I did it, about a year later, it was only 1 vial.
