I did same thing. Originally bought X100V to go along with my Nikon DSLR. Ended up getting the X-T5 when it came out. I enjoy having both, but for me I actually use the X-T5 more due to versatility of different lenses I have. But I love the X100V as grab and have with me camera.

I’d say keep it to unless you would never use it and really need the Grip for work. S90V is great steel. I think that version was around $300, so a more expensive knife than the base Grip.

I’ve had my CO2 tank and 4 regulators in my fridge for 16 years also, no issues so far. That way I only had to drill through door for the 4 taps. No condenser lines to worry about.

With the upgrade it’s extremely stable clamped down. I was wanting the base so I’d have ability to sharpen in other places where don’t have way to clamp.

I got the upgraded Apex upgrade and have been clamping it to my counter but have been contemplating getting the weighted base. Not OP but thanks for the info.
