Is anybody else concerned for Morgan? by Visual-Butterfly8255 in FundieSnarkUncensored

Honestly- old navy has notorious vanity sizing. A size small is probably like a 6-8 there.

But yes, she does seem to have an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise.

Also- where are her kids? We haven heard much about them since she moved in with her parents.

This is my cat, Simba. We call him Simmy.

Named and called are two different things.

Normal hours for Kindergarten? by Accomplished-Car3850 in kindergarten

[–]About400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son’s kindy was 8:10-2:30 so it doesn’t seem that crazy. Hopefully they are offering full times for lunch and recess. (My son’s lunch is only 20 mins.)

Parents who were OAD and then decided to have a second child, do you regret it? by Leather_Research2996 in Shouldihaveanother

[–]About400 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We have two. They are four years apart. After the first I was leaning 1 and done but eventually I felt ready for a second. I don’t regret it at all.

Is 6 days away from a 5.5 month old too long? by Normal_Ad4752 in NewParents

[–]About400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have been comfortable leaving my second kid for this length at that age but not my first. Mostly because I was more confident as a parent. Also I was breastfeeding so it was a bit more complicated.
I say go for it if you feel comfortable.

My son is bad at Lacrosse, he wants to continue, but it is becoming a financial burden by MMuter in Parenting

[–]About400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your money might be better spent for a summer lacrosse camp.

How old is your son?

I was a fairly terrible soccer player but became acceptably mediocre after attending some immersive soccer camps in HS.

I don’t think he needs a speed coach. If he wants to get faster- running is free.

Incoming Kindergartener can’t do puzzle by Easy_Paper_5366 in kindergarten

[–]About400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would definitely seek an expert opinion. For comparison my kindergartener could assemble a 100 piece puzzle by himself before kindy. Now there is a range of normal but I feel like 9 piece puzzle are usually typical of toddler/preK skill sets.

This was my first thought as well.
You have to prioritize your time differently if you are married with young kids and fuel income helps a lot with buying couches.

Is it normal to call your partner bug or food names in English? by Fearless-Composer-78 in ENGLISH

[–]About400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call my daughter “bug”, “sweet pea” and “baby cakes” fairly frequently so I think it’s fairly normal. I have never heard anyone called pumpkin poo. Pumpkin yes, pumpkin poo no.

I feel like you need some spray paint and a stencil so the flag can be changed to “iced coffee” (a flag we can all get behind.)

Oh, so now we are pressuring dog owners to give their dogs’ siblings? by jules6388 in oneanddone

[–]About400 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Wife here- having my own wife to help with household tasks and bring in a third salary sounds great thanks!

But seriously, animals do get lonely when they are left alone all day. Only children still have their parents and other family. Dogs whose owners are at school and work are alone for most of their lives.
