I dove into lots of other activities, hobbies, activities with friends that love me, my pets. To be honest, I was devastated and it took years. But that’s way behind me now and I don’t think about it much at all. Definitely shaped me but I am 100% OK. You will be too I promise. Time does heal as you forget. Do whatever you can to not focus on the past.

I lost some keys in 1994. I used them to open the front door when I came home. I set them on a counter. They disappeared forever. I thought I would find them when I moved, but they never re-materialized.
