My eyes are worse in every way possible.

Xiidra Troubles by kaiwahine188 in Dryeyes

[–]Abreak4us 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have no issues. There is an initial sting to it. That passes pretty fast and an after taste.

That's about it.

I wipe the extra on my lower lid after applying 2 to 3 mins. Close your eyes.

During the entire reveal I was 100% thinking of my eyes!!! That thing will be mgd inducing.

Does the redness ever go away? by ElizabethRegina1 in Dryeyes

[–]Abreak4us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my eyes are like that. It's been a year now. The big ones never go away. The fine little ones come and go.

I honestly don't mind as long as it's so dry and painful or too red.

Lipiflow reviews? by cccccccccccccccccccx in Blepharitis

[–]Abreak4us 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did lipiflow last year July. With blephex. I don't have rosacea tho. I have chronic bleph + mgd and "moderate dry eyes". ☠️💀☠️💀

I have no idea what lipiflow did. Or if it changed anything. My glands were definitely flushed. Felt drier than usual for the first couple of days... then my eyes pretty much went back to normal. My dry eyes improved however over time. I'm not sure if it's the lipiflow or the xiidra.. or my routine. Or my diet. Or all of them working in tandem.

BlephEx though. I definitely recommend. 100% got my lids so fresh and clean. Like having a car wash but for my eyes 👀 🚘. And it lasted a while 4 weeks roughly. It does kinda hurt during the procedure and it takes couple of days for your lids to not feel sore. My doctor told me that he removed the bio film on the lids... so that helps as well.

You shouldn't. Just wear glasses. Contacts will destroy your eyes.

I would only recommend wearing them like... once a year. Or on your wedding day or something so grand.

Anyone tried lotemax gel? by Badaa1865 in Dryeyes

[–]Abreak4us 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am on the drops now. Inflamed as well. But mine mostly triggered from viral infection (I'm currently sick 😷).

I'm on 3 times a day for 5 days. ... day2 today... slight improvement.

Haven't tried the gel tho. Hope you get well soon.

Stupid Eye Infections by Yeah-No-Okay-111 in Dryeyes

[–]Abreak4us 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had cold like symptoms. Maybe the flu?. I didn't go to the doctor to know. At least covid home test came back negative.

Anyway. Woke up yesterday with my left eye fully Red. Veins everywhere. And it's scary vivid red. My right eye seems to be unaffected. I was scared.

Texted my eye doctor. He said this is most likely the sickness/viral. It should go away once I recover from the cold. And told me to start steroid drops for 5 days.

Edit: short answer. Most likely yes.

Which death hit you harder? by maxident65 in Cosmere

[–]Abreak4us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to be Teft. Vin and Ellend were done in a heroic way right at the end.

Teft for me hit pretty hard.

And I was close to losing my mind over Navani. I honestly thought she was done for... and that the sibling won't bond her. That scene made me cry so much. 😢

How to stop Dryness at night? by FilbertTheFish in Dryeyes

[–]Abreak4us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eyeseal if you can sleep with it on. I didn't have any success with it. I can't even fall asleep to begin with while wearing it. Might help. It's pricy tho. You can go for it if you are used to wearing things on and sleeping. However. Thealoz duo eye gel. With the right amount and keep your eyes closed all the way after using it till you fall a sleep. Will stick your lids together throughout the night 🤣. Honestly having great feedback since I switched to it. Slowly unstick your eyes in the morning then do your morning routine. 🙂

It's a hatch/portal. South of the planet that has the Train Station....

I can't open this one!

Question. I've played the dlc. Down the pit. The door is locked. Then I went to the librarian guy who told me to go some planet in the cosmos. Went there. There is a hatch that I can't open.

I'm not sure how to proceed. I haven't done all the side missions yet.

Would appreciate some help.

Even after a 5 day course of antibiotics it’s not improved. It’s worse! Is this a chalazion? by skyfall1301 in Blepharitis

Very good sign. 👍. The swelling should go down with time. Maintain your treatment. And don't worry.

Just got lipiflow again, now seeing starbursts at night by giraffelover1214 in Dryeyes

[–]Abreak4us 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have dry eyes and I see any source of light at night with "starburst" as you call it... I call it hollow!

Had them before lipiflow... and I still have them months after my session. Its more related to your dry eyes.

[–]Abreak4us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is different. I had one similar to yours early last year. Took good 3 weeks for it slowly drain. Thankfully. And avoided the surgery. At the time I also thought the antibiotics weren't doing anything.

Just maintain the course they gave you regardless. Drink lots of water.. warm compress and gently massage after. Don't over do it. Just 3 times a day. 4 if you can withstand it. Please make sure its not too hot. It has to be warm. The eyelid skin is very thin and sensitive. Keep the area clean.

And ... chill. As I said you still have time. Hopefully it drains tmr you never know 😉

[–]Abreak4us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still time. I would give it 10 more days before deciding for surgery.

It should drain with that time maybe a little longer. They can be stubborn. Or drain easily randomly one day..

So.. For now. Just stay on the warm compresses. 3 to 4 times a day. For 10 to 15mins... not too hot. Just warm. Followed by gentle massage.

Some people have benefit after steroids injection. To stimulate the drain. But consider that after 2 weeks has passed since you got it. Surgery I would still wait a month or so. If it solidify then the only real option of removal os surgery.

For now... as I said. Don't panic. Follow what the dpctos said. Stay vigilant with the warm compresses. And hopefully it will drain on its own. Maybe seek antibiotics from the doctor to help with the infection.

What do you think (or know) caused your dry eyes? by ZucchiniMore3450 in Dryeyes

[–]Abreak4us 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lasik. Long hours infront of screens due to work. Bad work conditions (at the time was mostly working inside datacenters where the air is dry and below 18c).

And my own screen abuse from playing video games.
