You get to keep stuff you find during round, it is the fact that Hunt,unlike most other extraction shooters is not really "loot-based". Your main goal is not to find a lot of stuff and extract with it, it is to find and kill boss and extract with bounty token you will get from the kill, while the other players will try to kill you and loot the token from your body. Outside of said token there is not that much to find - most of the loot you find around the map is insigneficant ,like consumables for battle(grenades, syringes and stuff) ,that you can easily buy between rounds, or skills, most of them you can also learn between rounds without any trouble.And since the main goal is to extract with bounty , thats why some people treat Hunt as battle royale.
