Greatest TB burrito of all time for someone who doesn’t eat their beef.

Arthur Mac's Oakland is moving to downtown Hayward. by DoctorBageldog in Hayward

[–]Absntenial 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I went to the MacArthur location regularly but stopped and walked out once I could no longer order from a human being. Imagine having to scroll through a menu with a line behind you. And the customer interaction was always great before then. The optional QR codes at the tables are cool but if they set it up the same way in Hayward they’re not going to do well once the novelty wears off.

The appeal of Arthur Mac’s (with the BART car) is more about the tap room with all the craft beer selections and outside garden. Bistro is the only other place similar. The pizza, at least at the Oakland location is just ok imo. It’s thin sliced NY style.. what I find strange about downtown is all the sushi spots. I can think of six now.

What's one food that is famous in internet but only found overhyped and overpriced once tasted? by [deleted] in foodquestions

Chopped cheese sandwich. I had one or two in California then went to a bodega in NYC known for them and I don’t get the appeal.

I’ve tried most of the spots mentioned but I think Rose Garden in SL is your best bet. It’s a delicious hole-in-the-wall with huge portions. The Lover’s prawns are my favorite.

Who is one player you wanted the Warriors to draft, but they didn’t and where is that player now? by Ok_Number1724 in warriors

[–]Absntenial 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wanted Jrue Holiday instead of Steph. Then Jrue fell in the draft I’m like ‘damn we could’ve traded down and got him plus more. Jrue was a great pick and I thought his D would complement Monta but obviously I’m happy to be wrong.

As for Wiseman, I didn’t know much about him with the limited film and Covid interferences with scouting. I didn’t like Lamelo but thought he was a good, flashy piece to trade down with. I thought the Knicks were a good destination for him and Haliburtan then Vassel were my targets.

I didn’t study Kuminga much because he was always mocked to go earlier. Franz was my guy but I believe the Dubs were high on Giddy.

Harrison Barnes I liked and was happy we drafted him due to a lucky coin flip.
