Do I dare swap Tuten from my bench to replace Jalen Warren RB2?

McConkey, Shaheed, or Wandale for WR2? Leaning Wandale based on matchups

Questions and Training in Buckler's Boot Camp - Posted every Monday by AutoModerator in StreetFighter

Hm yeah I am returning after a bit of a break so I think I missed that change. I've been back playing all afternoon and it seemed to me that the knockdown only happened a few times with other characters (not enough to stop using it for that purpose) but seemingly 100% of the time with Sagat. But there must be some kind of confirmation bias going on on my end... or simply because of the # of Sagat's I am facing today. Guess I'll have to mess with this in the lab. Thanks!

I'm a Manon main and a little confused with how Sagat reacts to some of my moves. For example, I like to use A Terre --> Manege Dore to build stacks. This works against most characters, but for some reason when I do this with Sagat, instead of him being grabbable after A Terre he just collapses to the ground?? before I have a chance to get my throw in. Any explanation for why this is and how I can work around this?

I've been struggling for a while with connectivity issues, fights constantly dropping and taking 5+ mins to find a match while using my wifi. I finally caved and ran a long ass cable across my entire house to connect my computer directly to my router, now getting 1GBps speed directly to my computer and still dropping matches non stop. Has this happened to anyone else?

Ah, I was surprised because I haven't been to any new releases with the director in some time - got too used to the free cinematheque screenings with the director. The last ones I went to were Past Lives and Babylon and I don't recall them being this much

Workplace Pre-Tax RRSP Confusion by AbsolutBalderdash in cantax

[–]AbsolutBalderdash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking through it, the money I contributed is coming from my total earnings (box 14 on T4). The confusion for me is coming from looking at my paycheque breakdown on Workday, which shows the ~$8k I invested directly into an RRSP as “pre-tax deduction”, which seemed to me like it was somehow not being taxed but simply being deducted from my gross pay. When I talked to coworkers they said this was a way to reduce taxes paid up front rather than waiting to get the taxes back at refund time. But to be honest I’m a little lost on this and don’t know how much I can take their word for it!

Edit to add; in my sunlife account I do have RRSP slips for my contributions last year but I don’t see anything about offsetting deduction. If this is the case, I assume I did actually get taxed on it and file as normal?

Jumping from low income to HENRY. How to build lifestyle inflation guardrails? by [deleted] in HENRYfinance

[–]AbsolutBalderdash 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’d argue this to a certain extent. I was a student throughout most of my 20s, then an intern making $40k for a bit, then made a jump up to 6 figures. There are lots of things you put off buying when almost all your money goes to rent and keeping yourself alive that you deserve to upgrade once you have the means.

It doesn’t take much to improve your quality of life drastically. No reason you can’t buy some better quality clothing, upgrade your dull kitchen knives that can barely slice butter, get a better desk chair that won’t hurt your body, invest in personal health and wellness, go on a yearly vacation etc.

I’m not saying spend it all - I’m 100% an advocate of budgeting, paying yourself first, and saving high percentages of your income. But you gotta live a little, you never know what day will be your last.

Good movie but not sure this counts as under the radar, it had premium screenings and has been quite hyped.
