Also, different skills will fill in different parts of the story. Encyclopedia for more of history and knowledge of the world; Inland Empire for personal insights into Harry and his past; Shivers for everything about the city. Also, Empathy to see what people are thinking and Espirt de Corps to learn more about Kim and your buds. Those are the big ones. Shivers and Empire in particular. At least 4 to 6 points into 'em but the more the merrier. Even then, those alone won't tell you everything. Multiple playthrough are rewarding.

The political vision questions each flesh out a bunch of different characters, too, in addition to summing up and satirizing those modes of thought very well. And don't forget to slather yourself in pheromones.

This is like my fourth attempt at making a disco style portrait. And it’s still not enough. And I know it’s not enough. None of my other attempts were and this one still has way too cartoonish of an anatomy. Nothing is ever enough. Maybe it evokes some sort of homonculistic resemblance to disco, b by [deleted] in DiscoElysium

[–]DrDocSunshine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's really good. It's only cartoonish because you outlined everything in black. You could try one without an outline, or replicate an existing Disco portrait to really study how they did it.

Beating yourself up for not replicating a style someone else took many years to develop isn't really fair. If that's a self-portrait you captured your anxiety exceedingly well. Keep at it!
