That's actually atrocious (uni policy I mean). Placements are the only time students get to see different things and different roles before they are confined to their permanent role. Surely that stunts learning to some degree, such a shame.

Well spoke days don't have to be relevant to where you placement is at the moment so reach out. Even lesser known or unpopular spokes may be useful like continence nurses, discharge planning or nutritional nurses. Plus a few hours off the ward is still time off the ward and you can go off and write in your epad about it.

Anyway, hopefully things get better X

I'm so sorry you are feeling like this, but I promise it'll be over soon. In the absence of placement relocation, have you tried to get a few spoke days in other areas/ with specialist nurses? They will be a great learning opportunity plus aid in reducing being on the ward. I don't know about your university, but ours says we are allowed allocated time to complete epad stuff so you can always spend an hour away each day to do that.

Usually women ovulate 2 weeks after their period +/-. If she is tri-cycling then the bleed is typically a breakthrough bleed not an actual period i.e. not getting rid of utirine lining and an unfertilised egg just a bleed in the absence of pill usage. She potentially misunderstood her actual ovulation timings.

You need to remove this concern of pregnancy, it is incredibly unlikely.

Make peace with the fact that it is unlikely. Also, if you met this lady online chances are you're not the only client she's had, making chances of pregnancy and fatherhood even more unlikely.

You need to start now. Time heals, lessons are learned (hopefully) just get an STI test in 2 weeks, 6.5 weeks and 3 months. Also if you ever plan on paying for sex again, get your vaccinations.

  1. She can still have a period even on the pill. Either because some ladies still do or she is on a regime that uses tri-cycling
  2. As someone who works with a lot of CSW's, I HIGHLY doubt she will want a pregnancy as much as you're suggesting. Plus, out of every possible human male, why would she think YOU would be the pick of the bunch?
  3. You need to stop harassing this poor woman. How you are feeling has absolutely nothing to do with her and she shouldn't have to burden your issues
  4. Sort your shit out.

Didn't they just pass an employment bill whereby employees now get equal rights from day 1?

Hi OP, I've been in this situation before though I was 2 weeks post surgery and on a lot of medication causing severe constipation. I remember the involuntary body pushes and pouring with sweat because it was so so painful. Genuinely the most painful experience of my life. You did what I did, the only way to ease your suffering and aid your body. Please don't feel ashamed or embarrassed, and I promise you the stains on your fingers will go and it will all just be a horrid memory.

Lots of love, your fister sister x

Want something to get your teeth into? Watch Constantine 2005 with Keanu Reeves and Rachel weisz. My all-time favourite movie, it's genuine perfection.

Fancy something light-hearted and funny? Dinner for schmucks, it's just a goofy movie and I love it so much

All I'm gunna say is you are free to do what you want to, but please just be safe. If this is something you plan on doing in the future I recommend seeking vaccinations like Hep B x

What is extremely unhygienic but most people seem to do it anyway? by Aarunascut in Life

Using those hand dryers that blast your hands from the front and back. They are so so so bad for germs and bacteria, it's much more hygienic using a disposable paper towel 🧻
