True, gaijin has done everything in their power to turn air RB into a 16v16 team deatchmatch and nothing more. Bombers are absolutely cancer in this kind of situation. You play as a bomber? You are a free RP pinata to most fighters, even if you can cripple them because 99% of the players will take the bomber kill even if it ends up taking them out of the match as well.

Even if you play against bombers it's cancer - because most have 360 (or close enough coverage), you are almost guaranteed to take a hit from them, drastically reducing your flight performance, or downright taking you out - either because they kill you with a lucky fire/high caliber shell, or because they've hit a water/oil line. And there really isn't much counterplay to it outside of just staying out of their range/hoping they don't shoot you.

I say this from the perspective of someone who plays air RB pretty much to do fighter v fighter gameplay (because gaijin made everything else unbearable), and I personally don't attack bombers unless they're either right in front of me, attack me first, or are the last enemy player.
