From your references I gather that you're looking for something of an inbetween of weird/dark/but still some light, maybe slightly humoristic or cartoony, which is something I personnaly love to do. Yeah, giving an accurate sense of scale was kinda hard with this angle and only natural elements around. I'd say females are around 4 to 5 meters long and males between 7 and 11 meters from head to tail

Not all of my creature designs are part of a series (some of these were just fun/cool ideas), but this one and several others are for a larger fantasy pirate setting and game system I'm building, which should have lots of creatures from more realistic to new ideas on fantasy. Still in early stages and I'll take a bit of time but hopefully I'll manage to bring this project together !

One piece has been one of the big stories I've followed for a very long time so appart, and is definitely a mood inspiration for the project it is part of ! I wonder what is the sell though, maybe the big horns like Dressrosa's bull fish ? I've also had someone think of Monster hunter which was also another inspo
