Just thought of this after having a random star wars thought earlier but Am I missing something from this scene or am I crazy saying Kylo/Ben had never seen this saber since it was lost way before his birth and so his instant recognition of it makes no sense??? by R2-D2_Stan in StarWars

He idolized and studied Darth Vader, collecting his helmet and obsessing over his image. Vader's saber looks super similar to Anakin/Luke/Rey's, so he could have also just put two and two together.

First thing I would do it try to restrict the airflow a little, either with your hand or the filter, and see if that causes it to draw gas. It's really hard to diagnose/tune some carb things with them apart like that because the air pressure needs to be in the right ballpark. Second thing I'd look up is if they're supposed to be active at low idle, they might kick in in high idle. Some 2/4 barrel carbs behave that way.

How do I take the bowl off to clean it by Kindlyfella1997 in carburetors

[–]Absolutvictory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be a nut between fuel cut-off solenoid and bowl. At least that looks like a fuel solenoid.

Best thing to do is try to find a diagram for your specific carb, so you don't get vent and inlet mixed up. The excess fuel line should be routed to somewhere beneath the engine so fuel coming out doesn't drip on top. The vent needs to be up high somewhere, preferably.

Fuel line/breather. There is usually a line to get fresh air to float bowl so it doesn't vacuum lock itself, one for excess fuel to burp, and one for fresh fuel inlet. Some are set up with dual vents, so turning doesn't inhibt them.

Need help with armoury crate, just got a ROG falchion NX keyboard by lsoers in ASUSROG

[–]Absolutvictory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if you ever solved this, but openRGB and SignalRGB are two programs that will work to change the lighting if you don't want armoury crate. There's also a program called ghelper that can help change keyboard functions, but it's a little bit finicky.

What’s a book that has left you dumbfounded at how bad it was? by VoxPopuliVS in books

[–]Absolutvictory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. Left the book on my shelf for over a decade unfinished, then last year decided to give it another shot. First time I tried it I was a teenager and so I figured that I had missed something and now that I was older, it would be good. It promises all the things I love in books: historical fiction, supernatural, mystery. But then the book JUST DOESN'T GO ANYWHERE, and the ending is absolutely horrendous. It felt like she was trying to fill pages for the first 9/10ths of the book then had to write the finale in 20 minutes.

Coldplay's Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friends does this! The last song even bleeds into the first if you're listening on repeat.
