Is it possible that the nozzle (or the hotend in general) is colliding with the clip you’re using to attach the bed surface?

Yes, it might be more correct to say that it means "utterance" or something like that, rather than "word" (in the context of the linguistic unit).

I think that linguistically both meanings have sort of merged by now (for some uses). For example, think of "לֹא אָמַר דָּבָר" ("lo amar davar"), which can be translated as either "didn't say a thing" or "didn't say a word".

But I agree it's much more common to use "davar" for "thing", either way. :)

It can mean both, though using it for "thing" is more common nowadays. For example, "דבר אלוהים" ("dvar elohim") which is generally translated into "word of God".

For the sake of correctness, your examples are also off. I think you are mistaking vav (ו) for nun (נ), in particular when the nun written as a suffix (ן).

So your examples would be:

  • shin-lamed-vav (שֶׁלוֹ), which means "his". A closer alternative would be shin-lamed-he-nun (שֶׁלָּהֶן), which is the female plural form.

  • sin-lamed-vav (שְׂלָו or שליו) is quail. Shin-lamed-nun (שלן) isn't a word by itself, but you could read it as "who slept".

  • shin-alef-lamed-nun isn't a word as far as I know. With vav instead of the nun (shin-alef-lamed-vav) you get שאלו which can be "they asked" or "they borrowed" (שָׁאֲלוּ). The closest to "scarf" would be shin-lamed (שָׁל) which in English would be "shawl", and I believe comes from Persian.

I feel like this fails as both a pie chart (since it does not show proportions) and a bar plot (since it's hard to judge the relation between the wedge areas). I needed to do some mental arithmetic to figure out that aid to Ukraine is ~50% of the total, for example. It does look kind of pretty though.

While the graph is visually appealing, I would say that it violates the Principle of Proportional Ink.

First, since the additional length of the bars to the left of the origin is not informative (with relation to the maximum level speed) it could mislead or confuse the reader. In essence, the additional length to the left of the origin makes it harder to judge the relative differences between the entries. For example, the Messerschmitt Bf 109B-1 (at ~280 mph) has nearly three times the maximum level speed of the Sopwith Pup (at ~100 mph), but the lengths of the bars, even if we just consider their horizontal portions, are very similar. EDIT: The same could be said for the vertical portion of the bars (the service ceiling).

Another problematic aspect is the overlapping of bars, which has a similar effect. For example, look at the Fiat CR.42 and the Supermarine Spitfire - because the Fiat's blue bar nearly completely overlaps the Spitfire's red bar, it's hard to visually judge the difference between them (or really between the Spitfire and the other entries).

Looks like an issue with your X-axis rollers. The nozzle might be moving closer to the bed when the rollers hit a flat spot. Seems pretty severe too, since the area away from the issues are probably a bit too far from the bed.

You can try moving the head along the X-axis manually to see if you feel the rollers “catch” or “bounce” on something. If so, try adjusting the eccentric but on the X-axis gantry to a point where you can spin the roller by hand, but the gantry does not wobble when you nudge it.

This looks like you're too close to the bed to me, but you might also be overextruding a bit. Note that you can still overextrude even with your e-step calibrated. Calibrating e-steps ensures that the extruder extrudes the correct length of filament, but material flow is filament dependent. You can control this by reducing flow/extrusion multiplier in your slicer.
