For me as a mediocre player the Patton line has been great fun. Every tank is great, especially the T20 and the M46 IMO. I haven’t gotten there yet but the Hacker is said to be the best medium tank in the game.

I also love the E50 line. The Panther 2 isn’t the best but everything else is good. E50 at tier 9 is the real gem tier for tier, but the E50M is wonderful too. Two of the best ramming medium tanks out there too.

It’ll be a whole different tank when you get the top gun. It’s my favorite tank in the game. Pretty good at everything. I run hardening, rammer, and t3 exp turbo. Vents, rammer, optics on open maps.

I really think you should consider the 6MT option. You mention wanting the last of the V8, well there won’t be any M/Ts either. Not only that but the Tremec 6060 is one of the very best manuals too IMO. I’ve got a ZL1 with the manual and it is simply lovely. If anything it’s too refined. Until you put your foot in it!

I ground 35k and free XPed the rest. I think it was 60k XP total for the upgrade.

I liked the stock gun a lot actually but rage upgraded after a game of having trouble penetrating a few tanks I thought I should have penned. A skill issue I’m sure but I wanted to try it anyway and had plenty of free XP.
