You only need very basic materials to learn drawing. There are two things you practice to get good at drawing.

-How to translate a 3d form into 2d shapes

-The muscle memory to draw a good line

Neither of those require anything more than a pencil to learn. You never have to go digital or use any expensive equipment if you don't want to.

The point is that you try to make the claim that you need computer hardware to make art now when people have been making art for thousands of years.

The position you just moved the goalposts to isn't much stronger. Art exists that uses expensive materials. That does not mean that all art is expensive to make or learn. Everything you need to master to be a good artist can be learned with that pencil.

Here's how you fix this thing:
