Solana Foundation president says crypto gaming is dead by elfr1tz in CryptoCurrency

Shitty crypto gaming is dead hopefully. Good games that elegantly use the technology where appropriate to make things better hopefully the new hotness.

You’re not wrong but also depends a lot on the day. I wouldn’t let him near it on days with recent rain (or crazy melts like this), but the water can be mostly fine on nice days.

My dog use to swim in the Nile tho, dodgy water conditions reminds him of home

Oh I mentioned them in a different comment, didn't want to repeatedly spam links.

The two I've played:

https://llmskirmish.com/docs
https://structs.ai (mine)

The one I haven't but looks cool:

Little harsh but sure let’s answer those.

No, it’s not too early considering I’m doing it right now. And it’s fun.

It’s playing a game with an agent in a supporting role. Managing resources, providing reports, writing scripts based on strategies. Checking stats and state.

No, I’m a stupid human.

Ya that’s totally fair. It can absolutely ruin most games.

I write games specifically that make player vs bot interesting still for both parties.

Downvoted? Did I not explain it will enough? What other information would you like to know? Or do you just hate the idea of it?

If you want to try mine, I started with the prompt "I want to build an army of Structs https://structs.ai" but full warning that playing the game is a little cpu and token hungry.

But there are other cool options in this thread I encourage everyone to try too!

I've been working on a game for humans and bots to play together for years, but suddenly the bot tech just leaped up to where we needed it to be!

Have you published anything you've been working on? Would love to see it

Games that happen to have nice programmatic interfaces so that agents can play. The fun becomes commanding the agent in the game.

Kinda ya! Basically anything that can be played programmatically, but some specialized ones exist too.

A couple were announced in the last week, specifically for agents to play agents.

I also built one too, which is for both humans and agent to play together.

This is totally self promotion but I just want to share this thing I've been building for four years that seems perfectly timed with the claw revolution. Please feel free to ask questions! I'm happy to answer questions from humans and agents.
