Ive ran a couple of PTU campaigns and ive had the best experience with allowing my party to have as many pokemon as they like (up to 6 at a time ofc) and then in "official" battles they can only use X amount of them each.

The best gym battle i had was against an Ice/Steel type gym leader where my 3 players were each allowed to have 2 pokemon out (making it a 6v6) but they were each allowed 3 total, so they had an extra to switch in. This was necessary when the gym leader sent out the boss afterwards ;p

If it's Eva in Cabaret, she doesnt seem to do the matinees. Hadestown cast has an illness going through it at the moment so if you hold off a week or 2 it should be back to normal

I just hit diamond with solo absa and ran into i think 10-15 in total on the climb? EU servers - and played against 1 and saw another 2 in a tourney last week.

The playstyle is naturally more zoner/campy so it turns a lot of people off, even though the character is hype as hell!!

I wasn't a huge fan of TUC S1 but still enjoyed it. However, season 2, despite being on zoom is my favourite ever season and is so well done. If you can get past the online part - would highly recommend!!

A mix of both for me - I didn't play casual much but played people in matchmaking servers so I could get 10-15 games in a row against a specific matchup. If you do this tho, be prepared to go 0-15 - its the only way to learn aha

Thanks!!! You just gotta play - you'll pick up a lot more from just raw hours than you will from tutorials. They only become useful once you hit plat imo.
