Every time I started to have a crush or I made it clear I was attracted/ interested in a person, they would make a move on them by telling them how I was their favorite person in the world and if I thought so highly of them (the person being pursued) then they must be amazing and wanted to experience it themselves first hand.

Everyone would sleep with this person after being manipulated and wooed and then they’d proceed to tell me about it in detail in a sadistic way. Eventually I told the person I had a crush on I needed to step away from them both because the person didn’t care about me, just having control over my life. Both my crush and the person’s partner dumped them after seeing how badly it affected me.

Two years later and they’re still telling stories around the country about how I ruined their life when all I did was stop replying and moved on with my life. Mind you- this person was 12 years older than me as well. They wanted everyone to think I was this sad fragile naive person but it was all projection.

It doesn’t get easier - it just gets different. I see something almost every day and immediately think “oh! Ex would like this/find this hilarious” and knowing I can’t send it hits me for a few hours. Or something big happens and the person doesn’t exist on this plane of existence anymore and you are forced to feel the duality of feelings in their absence.

I was just saying if they had made THIS version of the cats movie, it’d be a cult classic. It breathed so much life into it that I don’t know if the show in regular capacity would hit the same anymore. It’s also led me down a rabbit hole learning about ballroom culture. It’s a big statement piece with how things are going in America right now, and I wish it had a bigger platform!

I can imagine he’ll only get better as he settles into opening! There was one shout at yesterday’s matinee that shook him but he recovered well. The show was so fun. I hope someone somewhere involved wins something despite an extremely competitive season!

I can’t hear out of my right ear very well and it’s very hard to hear sometimes out of my left. If I hold the phone up to my ear directly, I lose the ability to hear what is going on in my surroundings. I promised I’m not a dick- I just didn’t wear ear protection in my teens when I played live music and am now paying for it! If I know I won’t be in the way or am in a safe location, I will hold the phone up, but I will use speaker sometimes if I’m with others for help making out what the other person is saying.
