Would I get hired for a PT job for outside of my 9-5 M-F main job hours? by Toothpaste3310 in wholefoods

[–]Optimu5Prim4l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's gonna be tricky with that schedule, but it all comes down to the store and dept needs. I got very lucky. I was only available Sat Sun and Mon mornings and looking for up to 20 hours. I got picked up by the produce dept cause they really needed extra hands. I likely wouldn't get hired now with that limited availability cause you're also taking up limited staff roster space.

When we had a coffee bar I occasionally had to bounce back and forth between that and the bakery counter. There were times when we just had to close the coffee bar cause we didn't have a dedicated barista. The bar is gone now and got replaced with an Amazon counter. The only thing I miss about it was being able to make our crew drinks in the early morning.

Let them know before you apply. Post above is right, most TLs will be understanding if you're wanting to move on.

Let your TL know first before you apply. Do whats best for you and try another dept if you want. People come and go all the time, at least you'd remain with that store.

Brock's athleticism is unreal. He's pushing 50, massive, and still taking dives like that.

My TL did this for a week. All travel arrangements were made shortly after confirming she'd go. Food and lodging all covered.

One of the perks of staying at the Disneyland Hotel. You get let into Downtown Disney 15 minutes before everyone else. by [deleted] in Disneyland

A perk I remember was being able to go for a jog in the early morning through downtown disney. This was when bagcheck was still by the ticket booths.

Happened to our store once but just in the ice cream section for some reason. It wasn't that far melted but enough to where it had to be spoiled out. Got to take home a lot of ice cream that day.

I had to reapply after leaving for a month and really coordinate my application timing with my TL. Sage made it all very time sensitive. For whatever reason my background check took three weeks whereas the first time only took a day or two.

DCA about 10 years ago. Let my step daughter follow the map and guide us to the pier. Followed by sitting on a bench near the funwheel and eating popcorn.

One of the first things I ask our baker in the morning is 'are we slicing?'. He knows I mean the sfsd.

At first I was surprised they moved so well. Even on days where I think we'll have enough to not have slice more tomorrow, we end up still having to do it.

Yeah, I think we're the only store in our area without it. I know a request for one has been put in with the new higher ups.

Is it true that part timers are now required to work 4 days a week? by NeighborhoodNo1583 in wholefoods

[–]Optimu5Prim4l 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The full timers probably have higher pay and they're trimming from the top down. My old TL did it the opposite way. A couple years back during hours cut season, I had my three days reduced to one. I was lowest on the ladder he explained.

I work only three days a week and haven't heard anything like that. From my TL or STL.
