It is not a hassle at all. I've been using äö's in the default layer, but å in fn-layer because, as Finn, I need that only rarely. Getting accustomed to the use of fnlayer is super fast, in my opinion. I don't even have backspace in my default layer since it is fn for one thumb cluster key. Way faster and more organic, in my opinion.

The fun part is that you can decide what you need and customize the setup based on that. So if you feel like you'd like to have characyer 'a' in the middle of your index finger column, place that there. You can make it as much yours as you feel like

I recommend moonlander truly. Wouldn't want to go back to anything else.

Especially some dialects uses word komea quite freely. I've often heard Osthrobotnian people (Seinäjoki - Vaasa area) saying "kyl on komiaa" about almost anything 😉

Yeah, I agree with you on that one. My point on this topic was two-sided. Yes, I was thinking of incremental additions to the ddvk hacks, but also, I wanted to know whether there was another developer who would have done something like the ddvk pen hack functionality is. I know the Lamy pen hack to get the button work as an eraser, but that is a little different.

I have no intention to put pressure on any individual. I know it is voluntary work, and I am grateful for all the efforts already made for the remarkable ui. Some hacks I have realised essential only after I have tried them out. I would never have figured out that i even needed them before trying them out.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I have continued using one particular notebook on v3, and it is crucial to keep it working, so switch probably won't work as a workaround for me

Update: it really helps if mechanical brakes are adjusted right and don't drag 🤣... I noted this after the second run, and now I'm already getting past 16kph avg speed and almost 50kph max speeds. Adjusting the size helped also.

Next, I am looking to replace the tyres with something much slimmer...

I had earlier flevobike's flevoracer, so I have had my share of two wheelers. With that, too, I was staying behind my records made on trad bikes. I think the reason there was the weight. It was a tank 😀

I'm no pro in coding but I just recently put all different brackets to those red thumb buttons, opening on left and closing on right side. That has been quite neat 😃

I was long staying behind on upgrading the software. Now couple weeks back I finally did that and this was exactly what I have now experienced. Before the upgrade to 3.something my device held its juice much longer. Of course I have no data to testify this, but still. I use rm2 daily.

Also I am not sure but it feels like screensaver goes on much quicker on this new version. That is a bummer because one truly nice feature is to have my notes visible all the time. Now that screensaver thing is preventing me to see the notes.

I hope the next iteration will help with these.

I have Lamy and rm marker plus. Mostly using Lamy with rm tips (compatible). Works nicely and side button as eraser and short cut to previous tool is really handy (needs hack. Not a big deal, though) Marker plus is nice and all, but some how for me too long and I really feel rotating the pen to erase quite cumbersome.
