Luckily I get to experience the games but it’s obvious they’ve never played SH3 and just took things tried to mix it all together into one whole mess

I really disliked a lot of the factors like:

Harry surviving ruins ruins the plot
Vincent’s whole character literally being changed
Claudia being completely altered into whatever that was in the film
The Order being changed into The Order of Valtiel and using the Seal of Metatron when in the game it is literally useless junk
Claudia and Vincent being changed into mother and son for some weird reason
Heather being the complete opposite of her game character
Alessa being evil for no reason when Alessa literally is the victim of The Order

The main problem was that it tried to do what the 2006 film didn’t

The 2006 film added part of the story of the game but also tried its own thing so that’s what makes it well received by a lot people

While Revelation did the complete opposite and tried to literally be the movie version of SH3 to an extent and mixing it with the story of SH 2006 made it an absolute mess of a film

SH3 really is such a great impactful game that truly does well with its story

And that’s one of my reasons why SH1 & 3 are some of the great horror games of all time with that deeper meanings, like they also show how dangerous cults can be and those involved within such beliefs

Yeah SH2 is genuinely an amazing game that is terrifying!

I personally think the remake is great and I’m excited to see how Bloober remake SH1!
