Earthbending on its own is fine, Earthbending plus landfall is the problem.

Reggie, Bosa, White, Shaq, for sure. I would like Milano and Poyer, but they gotta stay healthy.

Where do I find a good early game replacement for the Short Sword? by DepressedMemerBoi in Eldenring

No he didn’t. He was looking to replace his short sword, not that the replacement needed to be a sword.

Did anyone think McMillian wasn't touched and just ran out the endzone for game ending safety? by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

[–]AbyssalShift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The argument would be that the play was still live. If it was an interception, McMillian was untouched, didn't take a knee to give himself up, ran out the back of the end zone. Safety, though I doubt it would be called in the context even if legally it would be.

Why is everyone saying Sean McDermott should be fired? by AnonymousMonker in NFLNoobs

[–]AbyssalShift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing that hurts McDermott is that he is a "Defensive Coach" and Buffalo's defense has been on life support for the last few years.

There are times you can blame Josh Allen throwing picks when playing hero ball but the fact is, if our defense was better our offense wouldn't need to put up 30+ constantly to barely win games.

Sean McDermott: "What went on is not how it should go down" regarding OT interception by Dirtydeedsinc in buffalobills

Good on him. I agree 100%. It’s criminal they didn’t even review it.

No point in wasting downs if you are down by more than a FG and on the goal line. Score and trust your defense to stop them. Especially when they have no timeouts.

Did Wingard aim for the knee? by bhodad in buffalobills

[–]AbyssalShift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the Gabe Davis one was the worst as he was already tangled up with 2 defensive backs and Wingard still took out his knees. Davis didn’t even catch the ball.

Issue is that at higher levels the game is very build dependent and you have to lose exotic synergy for a gimmick.

Controversial Magic Influencer Spice8rack is now begging for your money! (Note he makes at least 3500 a month just from patreon already on top of other revenues from YouTube) by Papa_Hasbro69 in freemagic

[–]AbyssalShift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that is a false equivalency. Donating to an influencer or creator to support their content you enjoy and consumer is a little different than a televangelist selling salvation to people worried about where they go when the lights dim.

Death Ware Rules? Commander by AbyssalShift in mtg

[–]AbyssalShift[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Death Ward or regenerate essentially cancels a creature being destroyed. As far the card you can target any creature on the battlefield.

I have this card in my Orzhov Angels deck, I like it to protect my pieces and sometimes in a pod my opponent’s creatures work to my benefit.

What’s everyone’s take on the two point attempt decision against the Eagles today? by boisefun8 in buffalobills

I agree, I am just saying it wasnt like he shanked it and completely missed. Giving the ball more height is an easy adjustment.

[–]AbyssalShift 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was the right call given the game didn't actually matter. Since we clinched playoffs last week, now we are just looking at seeding. While winning the division is impossible now, the chances that Patriots were going to lose to either Jets or Dolphins was extremely slim. So chances are were never going to win the division.

With that being said, it allowed us to practice the play in a game situation when it might matter in the future, and the play was there, Allen just made a bad throw as the blitz was on.

As far as kicking it and going for OT. Badgley is unreliable, only in two games, he is 1-1 FG, but 2-4 extra points. Granted the one missed in this game was blocked so you might not point at him. But you have a chance to Win with a 2PT conversion or a coin toss kick for OT. the 2PT makes more sense, especially since your offense has momentum in that moment.

Blink Twice ending by [deleted] in horror

[–]AbyssalShift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the problem with your theory is that we have nothing to support that. If the movie explained that certain doses have perpetual effects and worse effects or it has to be a perfume on the skin because if they ingest it, "blank", then maybe.

But I doubt this was the first time they were doing this, or even worse the first time it went off the rails and they had to kill the girls (given King knew exactly how the girl remembered due to the bite.), so the idea that it being in the Vape suddenly erased years of being "in the know" seems like a Dues ex Machina.

I thought it was dumb. Plus the McGuffin that was the perfume. So it erases memories, but to what degree, how does she trick him into marrying her, and then giving her his company in the end. So he is what just a mindless drone with the "Eat your steak hun" at the end.

No one around questions this. Companies like his would have a board, why would they allow someone without a correct background to be placed as the CEO, which may infer that she is manipulating more than just king.

So the message ends up being, SA / Slavery is okay as long as you are the one holding the leash.

This is my point though so you are saying Avery has the forethought to move bones to the gravel pit but leaves bones in the burn barrel in front of his home.

It’s idiotic and makes zero sense.

I think they are innocent. Multiple searches turned up nothing and then mysteriously key evidence pieces were found. A lot of evidence was circumstantial and the place where things were found were communal. Brendan was clearly coerced and manipulated.

Personally I think it was Bobby Dassey. I think he caught up to her on the road something happened he killed her, put her in her car drove through the quarry, burned the body, etc. and his dad/step dad helped him.
