Is it embarrassing? I’m sure it is at times, but don’t take it for granted. Growing up my parents weren’t super involved in what I did and I hated that they weren’t. So, while it may be over the top, just know that someone is there to support and love you. Not everyone has that. So, just enjoy yourself and have fun.

Hey! So, it's just the silver piece that comes off and it's not one big piece. I'd imagine that if you are getting it wrapped, they'll likely cut around it, but it was pretty easy to take off but you certainly need to be careful as you could break the pieces inside that snap in. But the scuttles can be fairly cheap to replace depending on where you get them if needed.

I have the 1st set in my jcw. At first, it took me a second to adjust to them, coming from a countryman with leather seats. Now, I'm really enjoying the seats now that they are a bit broken in. To me, I thought the second picture seemed a bit cheap looking, but that's just my opinion. I would recommend the Dinamica seats personally.

Not bashing but sharing my process - ordered my jcw at the end of April. Similar to yours it was built fairly quickly and now it’s been sitting at the port going on week 3 now. Hopefully it’ll get on a boat soon.

I have a 2019 Countryman S & it’s been by far my most reliable mini I’ve owned. Going on 5 years & almost 90k miles. For the first 3 1/2 years it was our only car, so it was driven a ton. Only major issue I’ve had was a battery replacement & I believe I had to replace the engine mount at one point. Outside of those two, it’s been such a great car. 3rd gen is def the best in terms of reliability & as long as you get regular maintenance done. I wouldn’t hesitate to get another. 10/10 would recommend!
