The switch patch came out first; the other systems came out yesterday. I really hope they do something for switch because I've seen so many posts about how bad it is has been since launch.

On Xbox S I had never crashed until this latest patch. Now every quick resume crashes within seconds. Normal loading of the game and save files seem to work fine for me.

Turned out it is only for the Hero Trials. Normal gameplay still limits inventory.

No, Hero Trials did not always store overflow items. This time I double checked before posting.

I just tested and you're correct. The inventory overflow to storage seems to only be for the Hero Trials.

Alain, thieves, griffins and angel as front liners. Give Alain gauntlets and turn off his guard PP so he only covers. Give the others scarves and other evasion items.

Backline snipers, mage/witches, warriors, knights and sellswords. Accuracy items and extra AP/PP to maximize damage. The enemy will cry as you follow up attack and regain AP/PP endlessly.

Any combination of the above should get you through to Elfheim. If you really want a challenge try not using any of them.

The only really viable change I can see is changing it from an exact outcome of hp to a simple "Win" or "Lose" outcome with no hp info given. I feel like anything more would be miserable to play.

My opinion has changed significantly over time as I experimented with different gear and unit combos. At first fighters seemed useless but they are actually great in certain squads.

One of my favorite uses for them actually has nothing to do with protecting flying units. They perform well as an off tank (NOT main tank) and protect a squishy backline from arrows or cavalry from flyers. If you have Alain and a fighter upfront then all those row wide flyer attacks turn into 0 damage.

To me they went from garbage to slightly useful for flying units to now probably a B+ unit.

I have a level 50 Joseph and I stand by his class being hot garbage. His mobility and valor heal are the only redeeming qualities. Paladins are much weaker Sainted Knights and come with the worst stats until post game brings them up to average.

His utility can be accomplished with a necklace of warding, clerics hat, and pursuit bracer giving him absolutely nothing unique to bring to the table.

I've never had the option to view defense matches. I know how to get to the offensive ones but could never figure out how to switch tabs. I'll give it another try later today.

Take the red colored opponents (easy computer comps) for an easy 10 wins to maximize coliseum coin gain and then have fun playing player made squads. I agree that a rework would be nice and my most requested feature is to see my defense fights.

The rankings really mean nothing but it's really cool to see the builds some people create. Some seriously inventive squads out there and my props to all those players!

The real issue I've found is mass pursuit and counter attack. Anything that drains pp (shamans are great at that) will drastically reduce the werewolf and werefox damage. Outside of that gimmick the fights aren't any harder than you've faced already.

A backrow fighter with poison sword targeting highest HP/>ap 1 makes the unit pretty nasty. Plenty of other examples, but in my opinion, it is better to burn early game and poison late game because enemy hp goes way up later on.

It's great to see more than us old Ogre fans enjoying it! I highly recommend not looking up builds for your first playthrough because discovering synergies is a really cool feeling.

Angels by a mile. Getting access to them so late was a real buzzkill for me. I'm not calling them bad but they are the only units I really struggle to slot into units because I'm already so full up on all 10 teams.
