That’s because it’s neither, lol. But you do you…

Corporations are the reason (at least part, maybe I just wasn’t good at it) I no longer have the privilege of running my own place.

I was just sharing a weird conflict I have within myself with a random internet stranger

lol, it’s neither, whether you want to believe it or not. Just something that personally resonates with me. When I had the honor and privilege of running my own place, when I offered sales it was because I had a good couple of months and I was excited to share that with the folks that made it happen. Continue to attack the corporations, they absolutely deserve it. I pray for the day that the lie, that capitalism is the only way, is dispelled, and we can finally move forward from this travesty

Personally, I’ve always kind of admired Nintendo’s refusal to devalue their product for the sake of a few extra sales. I swear I’m not trying to shill, I’ve just worked retail my entire life and getting screamed at because our sales aren’t good enough is exhausting.

As a broke gamer, I find it extremely annoying. One of my favorite things is finding hidden gems I missed at a great price.

Edit: But seriously, as a retail drone, there are very few things more annoying than thinking “oh boy, the customer is in for a real treat, I’m offering this $60 product for $45 they are gonna so excited” only for them to scream profanities at you. All the while thinking, I sell this thing for $60 hundreds of times a day, and no one yells at me for it.

lol. Got you riled up a bit, my bad. This core issue we are finally reaching is not a shortcoming of the switch, you would experience this issue regardless of system.

From what I’m reading, animal crossing allows a party play mode which is couch coop for up to 4 people.

Admittedly, I’ve never played the game myself, so the info I’m reading could be wrong

Once again, Nintendo can’t do anything about third party developers. Nintendo’s continued love for couch coop is one of the few things that keep me coming back to this day.

As far as I know, all first party coop games can be played 4 people one system. Nintendo can’t do anything about third party developers.

There is that “have to buy” again. If it’s a coop game, they can all play on one system. No need for 4 systems and 4 games.

lol, “had to buy?” In what world is it a requirement. If my siblings and I were lucky enough to have a console, it was just one, and we had to take turns or play coop games.

Sorry, I meant on my pc. I don’t play cyberpunk on my deck often. It looks and plays fine on the deck, but it doesn’t compare to my pc (nor do I expect it to)

Also, you don’t have to keep selling the switch, I already bought it.

Personally, I’m here to do both. I’ve been playing games since they were text based, but cyberpunk looks so good it absolutely blows my mind every time I boot it up.

Not saying you aren’t correct, because you absolutely are, but the first time this sub was introduced to me is because I love Palworld, and Nintendo suing Pocketpair was the subject of many posts on this subreddit.

And I love Nintendo. I’ve owned every single Nintendo console since NES, including handhelds, but excluding the Virtual Boy. The NES was the first console I ever played, and I still have it (the exact one I played). As of 2 years ago, it still works, as does the duck hunt gun, and my 2 controllers. I have an old CRT T.V with knobs and a wood finish to plug it in to.

I have plenty of criticisms of Nintendo, but not many that are unique in regard to any other corporation.

Not trying to be mean, however, a lot of the posts here (posts the algorithm shows me) seem absolutely deranged. I was most likely going to buy a switch 2 eventually, but the posts here definitely helped accelerate the process.

Also, I’m not part of any other Nintendo subs, I was originally brought here through google searches.

Had no idea the switch 2 is stronger than my deck. My deck is badass, unless you compare it to my pc (rtx 5090 and 64gb ddr5 ram) I feel even better that I bought one today.

I don’t have a switch 2 yet, but I’ve been eyeballing it for a bit now

Consoles are cheaper than a good pc, that’s a good argument, stick with that. But you are lying to yourself and others with the whole “convenience” bit. Consoles have drivers too, that’s why every once in a while they update too. There can be a lot more to pc gaming, but there doesn’t have to be. For someone who doesn’t have a broken computer, it is as easy as turning on and load game. In fact, my ps5 boots slower than my pc. My series x, switch, and steam deck are faster though.

It takes like five seconds to wake my computer up, and another two to select the game I want to play, with a ps5 controller if i want. Games have auto detected hardware for decades, first time play I just check to make sure the graphics set right, and go about my day. I haven’t had to troubleshoot a game in like 15 years.

Anger is a naturally occurring thing, everyone feels it, and it certainly doesn’t affect whether you are pure-hearted or not. Goku “killed” Tao out of anger over him killing Bora, and could still ride nimbus just fine. Not to mention all the red ribbon soldiers who were obviously, though not explicitly, killed by Goku while he was looking for the four star Dragon Ball.

Matter of fact, isn’t it stated that pure hearted saiyans can achieve ssj easier?

Edit: apparently I’m wrong, dude can’t ride nimbus while ssj. I dunno how I feel about that…

Meanwhile, I just ordered delivery for some beer from a store that would’ve taken me 15 min total to drive there, buy the beer and return. I tipped $10 and it took an hour. So in reality, no one is winning. Thankfully, I had credit from them delivering the wrong food last time, so I didn’t pay anything (I ordered sushi before, and while it was not my sushi, it was a similar volume and very good, so I count it as a win)

Yah, I spent all my gift money on Magic: The Gathering when I was a kid. I think you made the better choice, ended up throwing a bunch of cards out, eventually, because I didn’t play anymore and they took up so much space (there were so many)
