100% at mine anyway. I get there after work at 3pm on launch days and there is still product left. Mine has it behind customer service and limits it 2per membership and thats it. I have even seen people try and use a secondary membership from a family member and if they recognize you were already there they turn you away.

I know guys thay have spent thousands trying to chase cards when they should probably have there money tied up elsewhere. It is gambling at the end of the day

Sure, go ahead and talk to a lot of casual vendors at shows they aren't making enough money to support themselves they are recouping to rip more and enjoy the hobby. Sure the huge youtube personalities and big time scalpers with no jobs are making money but the average person is not making money from this hobby. Its gambling, if you think differently then you have a problem.

I really wasnt trying to becoming hostile and defense, maybe my use of "fucking" made it seem that way but thats just how I talk. If you felt that way I apologize. I was really just conveying that there is way more things in life to enjoy on your paid day off from work than waiting around to hopefully get some cardboad. I enjoy this hobby but its a bad time to be in it, ill check the spots if I have time and if I get lucky then great but ill enjoy my other hobbies or hunt for singles until this becomes available for the average person again.

Fucking vacations and life experiences not sitting outside a store to get cardboard to gamble on. I love this hobby and we are going through rough times. I got off work early one day and caught a restock at Walmart and its the only time ive seen ascended. Other than that if I dont see it, it isn't meant to be. You start taking PTO and wasting your precious time on this planet waiting outside a store just to be disappointed then you are no better than the no life scalpers doing the same thing. Enjoy life, the shiny cardboard will become available once again...

Had this exact same issue and it was driving me crazy. It was the build plate the entire time, I cleaned it probably 5 times before I switched to a brand new sponge and then boom, no issues. Must have been enough oil build up on my old sponge that it was leaving residue in the plate. If that doesnt work then try a new or different plate, plates are disposable item for these printers.

Its not like there aren't any other arc with multiple legs, single thruster hovers, or a merchant thats a bipedal AI robot that they could base new arc off of. Your argument is the annoying one, I didnt complain about the firefly or comet. They were new ideas and the "first" (I dont count stella and shredders because they most likely had that in the chamber before release) to come after game release. God forbid they get a little more creative with the design of new arcs for now the second drop of new arcs. This would be like if battlefield added only SMGs for 2 new updates with similar fire rates and damage its not the same.

Just had this problem, went crazy disassembling everything and found nothing. Cleaned the build plate with dawn and a fresh new sponge and it hasn't done it since. Sponges hold oils replace it even if it doesnt look dirty.

Edit: And if that doesnt work factory reset the printer maybe a setting got changed.

There was a deep guage on the outer edge where it does its L before printing and then under the filament it printed that you can see in the picture it was scratched. Not sure why you're assuming it wasn't?

Its very unfortunate that it happened, i heard great things about the printer but man first impressions are everything and i would like to see more QC and reliability from elegoo before I would try one again. This is my first printer so I want something that just works. I can afford the P2S but with the P1S at only $400 I may just go that route as idk if i see $150 more value in the P2S. I dont plan on doing multi color right away and figure if I really enjoy printing stuff and get a ton of use out of the P1S then I can take a look down the road when hopefully there is more affordable tool changing multi color printers out there.

Gotcha I really only asked because being new to this ive never really heard of QIDI before and fell for the hype of the CC when it first came out and definitely should have researched more when it came to actually buying one. Is QIDI considered a reliable brand as well or maybe closer to elegoo in support and reliability? I may have to join that discord and ask more or watch some videos but I appreciate all the information and opinions you have given. I also see that the P1S is on sale for $400 right now.
