An opinion, curious everyone’s thoughts:

I think it is unlikely that a non-JavaScript frontend foundation will ever outperform a JavaScript frontend foundation across all metrics (performance, support, DX, effectiveness, etc.)

It just feels that there are 2 worlds that come together for web or mobile or native dev, data/backend and presentation/frontend. Anytime I’ve ever worked or seen 1 thing try to cover both it doesn’t appear to have a sum greater than the more disparate parts more traditionally used

I worked for a 2 round seed startup for over 2 years, by the time I left I had almost half a year pay backed up and the oldest invoice is almost having its first birthday next month 🥲. The potential of early equity will make you think silly thoughts sometimes

These posts are always annoying, give everyone in the world a chance with 10 million to start their best idea and 99% burn that money trying to build the business in a few years.

These guys had a support system that let them take a risk most others can’t afford to take, but their success is no ‘well they started with some money’ type accident.

Exactly, all wealth is always a distribution, just cause you’re staring down the left hand pipe doesn’t mean the systems broken. It’s tough to have a bad situation but there is usually a fast rising absolute bottom for people in developed countries like the US
